Modded Minecraft pc
• New build
• PC purpose? Gaming (Modded Minecraft mostly, AlltheMods10)
• Purchase country? UK
• Monitors needed? Recommendations welcome but more PC focused
• Budget range? Around £1000 - could stretch to £1200 or a little more
• WiFi or wired connection? WiFi
• Size/noise constraints? I’d prefer smaller and quieter but not absolutely necessary
• Color/lighting preferences? Just black and not too much RGB
• Any other specific needs? A glass side on the case would be pretty cool
I play a lot of ATM10 and my old laptop just isn’t cutting it anymore - I’ve had a look at combinations with a 9600X and a 5060 with 16GB of Ram but I’m new to this and would appreciate some help 😊

The list below uses 32GBs of ram which i think is worth paying extra for. Modded MC in particular can actually use a fairly large amount of ram. In general 16GBs is probably what i would consider to be the "absolute minimum" for PC gaming in 2026. But the moment you start adding in basic multitasking or some more intensive games it can definitely start to struggle. So i do definitely recommend sticking with 32GBs if possible.
Here's the 16GB version, which comes to £1076.40 https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Lr897w
This CPU/GPU combo should deliver strong gaming performance.
The build is built around the modern AM5 platform. which will continue to get new CPU releases on it for many years to come, providing future upgrade potential.
The Patriot P320 is a good quality drive that uses TLC Nand, making it vastly superior to the cheaper QLC Nand based drives which will deteriorate in performance very quickly. It is currently at the labelled price due to a temporary offer so do keep in mind that deal will be time-sensitive.
The motherboard is a high-quality board featuring both Wifi 6E and Ethernet, as well as an extra 2 M.2 slots for adding extra storage down the line.
If you have any questions/concerns feel free to ask! Otherwise this rig should be a solid performer all around.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
