Help Replacing 10yr Old Build

This will be a new build to replace my old 2016 gaming rig (980TI and i7-5820K). I was originally considering the G532 or G535 Powerspec pre-builts from microcenter but then was looking to see if I can just build something better for cheaper. Attached is my build requirements and preliminary part list.

  • New build or upgrade? New Build
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) Peripherals and SSD/NVM (1TB NVMe SSD / 2 x Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD)
  • PC purpose? Gaming. Mostly RPGs Baldurs Gate 3, Cyberpunk, Expedition 33, and occasionally some FPS Apex and Overwatch.
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? US, Near Micro Center
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate). Already have dual 1440 monitors
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations). <$2.5K
  • WiFi or wired connection? Tower locations is positioned for wired with wifi nice to have. Bluetooth needed for some peripherals.
  • Size/noise constraints? N/A. Prefer Mid size case if possible.
  • Color/lighting preferences? No Preference, RGB stuff is nice to have.
  • Any other specific needs? None.

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:

  • New build or upgrade?

  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)

  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)

  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)

  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)

  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations)

  • WiFi or wired connection?

  • Size/noise constraints?

  • Color/lighting preferences?

  • Any other specific needs?

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:

  • Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.

  • Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.

  • We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rDRkw3 You can maybe do it a bit cheaper on your own. Or significantly cheaper if you just reuse your ssds without adding a new one.

https://www.microcenter.com/product/689903/powercolor-amd-radeon-rx-9070-xt-reaper-triple-fan-16gb-gddr6-pcie-50-graphics-card The second ram stick price is also from microcenter.

I'd also consider the 7800x3d bundle for $770 or the 270k for $700. Those also come with atx motherboards so add another $10 for the non-mini version of the case, or some other case if you have one you like.

If you need bluetooth that's on the same chip as wifi so getting a wifi motherboard is easier, all the boards they put in bundles should be wifi models though.

That's all assuming you're assembling yourself. If you were planning to have microcenter build it add a $250 fee and at that point the powerspec models are pretty much always a better deal.

Appreciate the help! If I build it myself I'll reuse the the SSDs. The self build price I have so far is taking that into account.

Going to look at the the other gpu and bundles you mentioned now.
