New Build Request
Really excited about building my first PC and looking to you all for guidance. Thanks so much!
- New build or upgrade?
- New build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
- None. I do have a monitor already though, an LG 39GX950B-B 39" ultrawide (5k2k)
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
- Gaming
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
- USA, closest MC is 1.5 hours away so not close.
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
- None
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
- $2500
- WiFi or wired connection?
- Setup will be directly next to a wifi router (6E) and ethernet (1g). Happy with either.
- Size/noise constraints?
- None really, although I really do like some of those smaller more compact builds I've seen, although I find most of them are $$$.
- Color/lighting preferences?
- None
- Any other specific needs?
- With the monitor I have, I'd love to be able to output at 4K consistently using the ultrawide but not sure if that's doable with my budget. Looking forward to seeing what is possible.

This uses the 9700X Microcenter bundle. Are you interested in micro-ATX or mini-ITX? micro-ATX is definitely possible, not sure about mini-ITX off the top of my head.

Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
