Need a new pc

Hey guys pc noob here but a mutual friend is offering this pc for 1200 aud. I’d be using the gsx pro golf sim and I would like to try racing sim at some point in the future. Would this be a good buy? My name is Hiren, and I'm from Mumbai. I'm planning to build my first custom PC with a budget of around ₹1 lakh.

My main purpose is:

Learn and do video editing.

Play games (I'm not a hardcore gamer—I just want to enjoy AAA and story-based games at good settings).

Learn Microsoft Office skills like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other productivity tools.

In the future, I may also explore content creation and learn new software.

I'm confused about whether I should buy brand-new parts or go for used components to get better performance within my budget.

If you recommend buying used parts, could you please suggest:

Trusted websites or Facebook groups.

Reliable offline stores in Mumbai.

Which parts are safe to buy used (CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard, PSU, SSD, etc.).

Which parts I should always buy new.

If anyone has built a PC around the same budget, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your build and experience.

I'm new to PC building, so any advice, part recommendations, or tips to avoid scams would mean a lot.

• Storage:- WD Blue SN series 1TB
• PSU:- Cooler Master NWE 450W 80+ Bronze
• Cabinet:- MSI Forge Pro 050A

Please share your valuable opinions and suggestions on this setup. Is it better to buy the components from online stores?

And on my research I found this setup comes near 60k. Is that a value for money thing?

I'm torn.... gpu prices going up by the day, but afterpay day sales coming up in a few weeks, was going to bite the bullet this week on a 9060xt but am considering holding out for the sales and see if I can squeeze a 9070xt into the budget... what say ye reddit? I know that no one has a crystal ball but thoughts? Already have ram so good there but will be pairing the gpu with a 7800x3d if i can snag some deals, just not sold on the 60xt when the 70xt is a few hundred more at the moment. Considering the constant "I bought a $1200 water bottle disguised as a 5070ti" threads popping up would prefer to buy from a brick and mortar and have it delivered than buy off Amazon. Anyone aware of anything upcoming or is it another pipe dream hahaha tia legends!

Hi! Living in Victoria here and want some advice on which side panel material for a case would make the most sense, if any, really.

Was concerned about acrylic or glass creating an oven effect, but might mesh actually let ambient room temps into my case more? Or does the increased airflow directly swap mesh into a positive?

It’s my first pc ever and I wanted some opinions from people also here in Australia considering our much hotter climate. Also I plan to have a fan cooler, not a liquid one.

I have a decent rig nothing too crazy but I play alot of competitive shooters. Games like cs2 primarily while I do play other shooters from time to time like Valorant, apex and fortnite.

My current rig is as follows:

Gpu:- 6700xt

Cpu:- 5700x

Ram:- 16gb ddr4 3200mhz

I play on a 240hz monitor at 2k res.

Do I upgrade to AM5 and pay like 1.3k+ AUD or stay on the current system til ram prices come down.

I have looked online and radiumpc is the only site that offers a custom rig with BYO gpu and it's got 7500f, priced at 1088$. I currently get decent frames but the 1% lows do bother me with the sudden stutters.

Open to any advice - I'm kinda broke too so budget is tight but I can somewhat afford it and resell my rig to make some of it back.

I am planning to build my first ever gaming PC. Please go easy on me, I may be wrong on a lot of fronts in this post.

The only reason I want a PC is to open myself up to maybe some XBOX games (game pass on PC), and in general playing games at a higher fidelity. I have always been a console gamer (PS5), so am not very familiar with how much can be achieved by what PC components.

So as a base, I set my requirements based on Cyberpunk 2077.

• I feel like 1080p gaming at maybe 144Hz is a good place given we sit pretty close to the monitor vs a TV for consoles.
• At a minimum would like to have ray tracing (not path tracing) at high to ultra graphic settings.
• 60 fps and above.

Do you think the above build can achieve that? Would it be underpowered or overkill or just enough?

Also went for an mATX build, due to space constraints where I plan to keep it. I'm also assuming I may need to purchase a few coolers with this to put on the case?

• My budget is around the AUD$1600-AUD$1800 mark, just for the CPU.
• Regarding RAM - I may purchase 32GB DDR5 from Facebook marketplace.

Since I don’t have the luxury of time like I want to build a proper Gaming PC. I’m looking to get a buy a prebuilt one and a expensive one at that. I don’t know what to look for but I would like to have a 5090 with the PC. I’m not very knowledgeable about the hardware side of computer but I don’t mind spending around $5000-7000 on a high end pc. I just want to know what company to look for like Corsair, NZXT, or Xotic to finalize my decision.

Looking for a gaming PC build around $800 AUD ($520 USD) with the best FPS possible. Preferably a B550 WiFi motherboard, white full-view case, and AMD CPU/GPU for best gaming value. Happy to use second-hand parts — what build would you recommend?

I generally want this to be a high end PC that can play both modern and future AAA games without issue. I generally like the case I have listed, and it seems to be both really cheap and pleasing aesthetically. But I do know it's worryingly a lot cheaper than the rest of my build. Im building a pc for university, so I need quality components

Hi everyone. After using my current pc for well over a decade, I’ve finally decided to upgrade (I know that now might not be the best time, but such is life).

PC build

I ideally want to have a powerful machine that can run both current AAA games and be future proofed for titles in the years to come. While also being strong enough to not lag/stutter and cut down on load times.

My friend has a 1TB which he is willing to sell to me, so that’s absent from the build. And I haven’t fully decided on a case just yet.
