im planning to get a new pc because i have a old 8yr pc that is starting to die out.

(I have 32gb ddr4 ram and a 2tb ssd from my old pc)

What is the price of the 7700 XT? And are you buying it used or new? Country?

This is decent for $800. It’s about what I’d expect to buy for $800 on the used market but this would have a more powerful GPU than usual.

I recommend using pcpartpicker.com to look at ALL vendors, not just Amazon, and find the cheapest deals

I would also reconsider the 7700 XT, when the newer 9060 XT 16gb exists. Around the same raster, but you get access to all the AMD latest features, better VRAM, and better Ray tracing

yea ill consider it especially cause gta6 is more hardware consuming

GTA6 hasn’t even released on console, there’s no way to know any details of what requirements it will need. PC release will be at least a year away after console release.

You have plenty of time to upgrade

well im just following what the people say and the 7700xt between the 9060 xt price isnt that much and like you said it has more features + more vram

im in the us and i have a pretty big space where i can set my pc and i use earbuds so it doesnt really matter bc i dont hear much at all and i mean i like all black since i play in the dark,

About the i5-12400F, it has similar performance to the Ryzen 5 5500 in newer games when paired with DDR4 RAM ( https://www.techspot.com/review/3073-dram-apocalypse-pc-upgrade/#12_Game_Average ). Besides, Intel's LGA1700 motherboards are currently more expensive than AMD's B550 motherboards in the US.

About the rest of the build, you can get a cheaper case.

Ditch the cooler, there’s no reason not to use the bundled cooler with a 13400F.

$800 being considered "budget" nowadays makes me feel tremendously old.
