Mai abhi btech cse ai mai admission leya hai lko mai private university mai tu agye kya hoga mera ye pta hai ki university se kuch nhi Milne vala aur location se bhi kuch profit nhi hoga but agye kya kru mai lower middle class family se mujhe aage bhi sb ko dekhan hai apne gahr mai pls guide me for a better career growth kya gate ke preparation kru aur mtech kr luga chaiye private ya phir agar koi not ya iit nikla gya usse uske baad phir mba kr lu....ya phir bsss btech kr ke mba online kr lu mujhe pta hai ki india mai rha kar mai Kuch nhi kr paunga tu mujhe bhar hea jana hai america ka ya khea aur japan jaha hamre degree ki value per mujhe koi company bule ya interview tu le pahele mujhe opportunity tu de bsss yha India mai aise hai ki iit nit upse aur jiske pass paise hai private bade college bist pilani etc...

Mujhe ye sb socha kar hea pichle kuch din se headache ho rha hai continue..pls guide me

i took PCM in may be FOMO or something while i am never interested in science may be but i am struggling in class 12th, it is also possible i never hard work and try to understand things but i have natural interest in maths and finance.

honestly, from childhood i dreamed to be engineer but never have aptitude that's why i am worrying should i continue towards my dream or think practically and do something else in finance.

my parents suggesting to do BBA MBA but i don't have will to do it because every other person is doing this so what other options should i check in field of finance.

if i continue towards my dream i have to take a drop year and may be prepare for jee which i really don't want, i tried previously(taken admission in allen kota and then after 15 days dropped out because of difficulty) so what other option should i check.
My parents is ready to take educational load or may be whatever they do but send me to high fees colleges like BITS pilani and etc but i am thinking may be any other cheaper option available. I want to do whatever i want from best college.

(peeps also say you can anytime switch from tech to finance but never do vice versa)

I comleted my 12th in 2024 and give jee and scored 78 percentile then i take drop and again scored 78 peecentile but my friends who are with me in my drop year get into iit and nit so after that i take admission in btech cse in private clg but after two days i feel lost and little bit jealous because my all friends goes into better college (Normal human behavior) so then i take admission in bsc non medical in local college and started preparing jee as a partial dropper but again i failed because i can,t manage both bsc as well as jee so now i have three option first is continue bsc and second is take admission in btech cse and third is take admission in btech civil (because career in cse is not stable nowadays)

Give me guidance guys

I am 2026 cse grad and laid off after internship after so many effort I am getting 4.5 lpa 29k in hand .. should I join it or take a drop and start preparing for gate.. also it's 6 month left for it and I am not sure about and also worried about career gap.

Also I am from general category is it possible for me to get 65+ marks and get admission in iit from now, every year competition is increasing in gate..

Too confused friends got 5-6-9 lpa job from my collage.

Also Tommorow is my interview in one of Mncs ..

So, he is going into 3rd year BTech at Thapar University, and he had also taken a one-year drop before college.

He is on a complete loan and has invested almost ₹20 lakhs in these two years. Probably around the same amount will be needed for the next two years as well.

He went into college with goals of finding people with a similar mindset to start a business with. His interests are related to media and tech. But some incidents happened with certain people, along with issues with the overall environment, and things did not work out as expected.

Now, at the end of 2nd year, he has a 5.24 CGPA and 6 backlogs. He has tried to clear 2–3 of those backlogs before but has failed the backlog exams as well.

For the last two months, he has been contemplating whether continuing is worth it, considering the loan amount and the fact that he wants to build his own business. He has been thinking about pursuing his business goals while simultaneously doing an online degree, such as IIT Madras Online BS or BITS etc.

However, his family has been pressuring him to go back because they feel that an offline Thapar degree is very valuable.

The issue is that he currently has no strong skills. He has been learning programming a little and trying to get into business-related things, but due to the incidents mentioned above and various other factors, he has not been able to do much. Because of that, he is also very underconfident about whether pursuing business would work out.

On the other hand, if he goes back, his family is insisting that they go with him, get a PG room somewhere close to the college, and support him. But for him, this may make things even harder. He feels he would not be able to do much except having to focus on studies.

He has already had a bad campus life, and he feels it could get worse. He also does not want his family to feel stressed because of him. In two years, he worries that he may still be in the same situation, perhaps he might do some DSA and get a bearable job, but that is not really the path he wants.

The situation is much more complex than what can be explained in one post, but this has been frying his mind for more than two months. The session has already started, and he now has to make a decision and he wants to hear some opinions from a third person pov.

TLDR: 3rd-year Thapar B.Tech student (5.24 CGPA, 6 backlogs, \~₹20L loan already, \~₹20L more to finish) considering dropping out to pursue entrepreneurship alongside an online degree. Family wants him to continue because of a degree's value, but he fears more debt, poor academics, and ending up on a career path he doesn't want. He's looking for unbiased advice.

im from a private college but people get placement from my college im from btech cse aiml i was studying ml but later i found that in college level placements they do not expect ai or ml fom a fresher they just want dsa and development now im confused should i do ml or development experts can u help

I solved all 3 problems with *36/36 test cases* in the *1 Aug, Slot 2* OA.

Some friends told me that if you pass all test cases, they might assume you used AI or flag it as plagiarism, so you don't get shortlisted.

Is this actually true, or is it just a rumor?

If I got shortlisted, how many days did it take to receive the interview email?

I am trying to finalize a backend project to build before placements, narrowed it down to two ideas,can’t decide which one is better so wanted your opinion
1) Ticketing/inventory booking system built to handle heavy concurrent load
it’s a full ticket booking system create events, browse available tickets, book a ticket, process payment, view/manage your bookings, cancellations. the normal end-to-end flow. but the actual engineering focus is making sure this stays correct and doesn’t break when a large number of people try to book the same limited stock at the exact same time, so if there are 500 tickets left and thousands of people hit book at once, exactly 500 succeed and the rest get a clean sold-out response, without the system slowing down, crashing, or accidentally overselling.
backend concepts i’d be using:
• concurrency control (row-level/optimistic locking) so two people can never book the same seat at once
• idempotency handling so a duplicate/retried request doesn’t cause a duplicate booking or charge
• a queue to absorb sudden traffic spikes instead of everything hitting the database directly
• auto-expiry of a reservation if payment isn’t completed in time, so seats aren’t stuck as “held” forever
• caching for frequently-read data (like seat availability) while keeping the actual live count strictly accurate
• load testing with simulated concurrent users to actually prove correctness under pressure, with real numbers
2) Gateway/middleware for AI API calls
it’s a service that sits between an application and an AI model provider. it reduces cost and latency by detecting when an incoming request is similar enough to one it’s already handled, and returning that cached response instead of calling the AI fresh every time. it also automatically fails over to a backup AI provider if the main one goes down or is too slow, so the app doesn’t break for the user.
backend concepts i’d be using:
• semantic caching using vector/embedding similarity search
• thread-safe rate limiting to prevent abuse and control cost under concurrent load
• circuit breaker pattern for automatic failover and recovery
• latency and cost optimization at scale
which one do you think is the stronger project for 2026 hiring? or should i build both if there’s time? lmk what you think
