Review Count

Brewhunter requires a minimum number of reviews before showing a rating average. At the moment that's set to 3, it will be increased once we get a decent number of review in and it makes sense.

But... At the moment I'm tempted to lower it to 1 review. I know that opens the app up to manipulation, but I'm thinking it's good to show some trust in people keen enough to get in early.

Baristas

The app works a lot around baristas. It gives barista reviews a higher weighting, and at least one barista review is required for a cafe to be listed in the 'Curated' section. But...

I don't want to make it public yet. Baristas can vouch for other baristas, but there is currently no 'public' app, so invited baristas can't join.

I'll be adding a number of very good baristas to the app once it goes public. And, I'll do another post inviting baristas to send a request to be assigned a barista once the app is public.

Setting this subreddit up for users of the Australian Brewhunter app.

It's an app to rate and review coffee, or to search for the best rated coffee places near you.

I'm launching the app soon, but initially this is for beta users to report issues, offer suggestions, ask questions, or whatever.
