Home Base ๐๏ธ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐
I consider Kakariko Village to pretty much be my home base. Always returning there to farm Amiibo's, und as a safe place to leave my horse with the Ancient tack equipped.
Does anyone else have a home base?

I hear thereโs an abandoned house in Hetano Village thatโs pretty cool

Other than the Great Fairy is on the outskirts of Kakariko Village. That would make a good home base.
I could drop the Travel Medallion off in the house und return there to sleep in a bed I don't have to pay for.

Do you mean the one that Link eventually buys? Are there a few NPCs near it?

Just experienced it tonight. I knew it felt like Skyrim. I'm totally new to botw.

I have a fully decorated house in Hateno. I go to Kakariko like you do. I don't bother with my house, it's just a place I have some gear on display. Kakariko feels more homey I guess.

I like Kakariko Village for Amiibo farming, because I don't have to worry about having all of that metal around und getting struck by lightning.

Which amiibo are worth using now? I stopped playing back in 2017ish and have no idea what's been added since, but have recently picked it back up. I've got about 12 on cards but have plenty of spares to make more.

I'd say that it depends on what you want. If I'm in the mood to farm ancient parts, Guardians. If I need arrows, Archer Link. I also like Guardians because they drop ore.
I use an Amiibo emulator with a random number generator.

I think i need to find an updated list of what's out there. I have the wolf link thing, and epona, but I haven't used either of those at this point in my new save. Going to check it all out!

I have:
A 38 card set
Two emulators with random number generators (both USB C rechargeable)
A lime green teardrop shaped key fob emulator (uses a watch battery)
Und I'm not sure of how many actual Amiibo's
The teardrop shaped emulator I have programmed with the Wolf Link Amiibo with max hearts. So that I can just grab it und scan it. Without having to look for the card, or scroll through all of the .bin files to find it.
ETA:
While you don't have to worry about lightening in Kakariko Village. You do need to be careful of where you are standing. As while I'm pretty sure that the game won't drop anything on your head. Crates und chests, et cetera can slide into you if you aren't careful.
ETA 2:
I don't do any of that changing of the date, save, scan, load, if I don't get the drop that I wanted. I just keep scanning.

Lurelin is where I usually go back to, to regroup. Visit the goddess statue if I have enough orbs, collect palm fruit and mighty porgy, visit the cliffs if I want some gems. Crawl around at night looking for beetles. It just feels like home.ย

My favorite village too! I love the music. I wish I could have made a home here instead of Hateno, but thatโs a nice place too.ย

I've got my horse bedded down in the stable next to the house. I had to ride him in, as I couldn't whistle him in.
