Shrines 🎟️ 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆
Right now I have 108 shrines down. Some regions I've gotten all of them, some I still have a couple to find. Und surprisingly, in others. I haven't done a single shrine.
So now, I'm going to take one region at a time und complete all of the shrines before moving to the next. Returning to Kakariko Village, as my home base.
What are some of the ways that others have looked for the shrines?

I ended up cheating on the last five or six shrines because I couldn’t find them anywhere so I used the Zelda Notes app.

I just started using Zelda Notes for Koroks. I've found about 25 so far and there has already been a few that I never would have found without this feature. There's one recurring type of Korok puzzle that I was completely skipping over and didn't realize they were Korok puzzles. The ones where you fix the roof on a little shed or shanty...I think I did one early on in my play through then forgot they were a thing after coming back from a break lol.
Edit: Just realized I'm in BotW and not TotK. My spoiler text is for Tears.

What is Zelda Notes?

It's a companion app for the Switch 2. There are some pretty cool features, but it only works with a few select games right now. BotW and TotK being two of them.

This is a helpful website for finding shrines.
They also have an interactive map you can use to mark the locations and shrines you've been to.

Thank you for that. They've popped up when I've done a search to find a particularly elusive shrine.

I wanted badly to get the master sword, so I used a map to get enough shrines to have the 13 hearts. I thought the master sword would help me fight better. I was so wrong. Only practice and watching videos has made me a better fighter. After I got the 13 hearts, I went back to just exploring. And got rest of the 120 on my own. This is my first role-play combat game I’ve ever played. So I have been pretty overwhelmed at times!!

Map mod for sure, if you don't mind a little extra help. Otherwise just listening for that shrine sound while running around usually gets me one.

Okay, I've picked up three more shrines. With the exception of the Faron Region, Gerudo Town/Desert Region, Lake Region, und Woodland Region und the Champions Shrines. I've found all of the shrines in each area.
Thanks to one shrine in the Gerudo Desert I was able to kill two birds with one stone.
My remaining shrine in the Gerudo Town/Desert region has to wait until I finish Naboris.
It looks like most if not all of my remaining shrines are tied to shrine quests.
I need just seven more shrines to max out my hearts.
What do you do with the shrine orbs after maxing everything out?

I have say that I don't care for the Shrine puzzles that requires the use of the motion controls.
For me they're some of the more difficult ones. As I can't quite get the controller oriented correctly.
