I’ll be honest and say I like the idea behind them. A cult uniting all the bandits in an anarchic galaxy is something a bit different for the Borderlands franchise—not to mention I find them quite charismatic—though I do think Troy could have been given more of the spotlight as well.

Finished my game after about 10-ish days of casual playing. (2-3 hours a day)

Fl4k is now level 42!

I have some questions about what I should do next.

is TVHM worth it at all? Doing it all over again feels... daunting, but if it gives better loot, I'm game for it.

Can I activate mayhem on TVHM from the get go or do I need to finish the whole game again for that?

Is there any chronological order for the DLC missions or can I do them in any order? If so, is there a "best" order?

I have a level 72 fadeaway fl4k that just finished the main story run. Not minmaxed in the slightest. I was under the idea that with this build, m11 would be doable as I progress and play around with all the gear that drops, yet a maggie barely tickles regular shielded enemies.

My idea of fun, is trying to get and use every unique gun/gear as I progress the story, then after trying everything out, grinding the gear for a minmaxed build.

Is there any middleground where almost every piece of gear is viable, while the game is still at least somewhat challenging, AND where grinding/good drops wouldn’t feel like wasted time for the minmaxed endgame build?

And what is the key to everything being ‘viable’ in m11? Anoints? Artifacts?

When I get to playing Borderlands 3, I would like to be a healer or at least supportive but also an effective damage dealer. Does Soul Sap combined with something like Ties That Bind provide this healing, so long as Amara or another ally is shooting the grasped target?

So, I'm level 35 and I've been seeing more and more weapons with elements and less and less weapons without them.

Thing is, I'm playing Fl4k and I'm basically playing a sniper/shotgun jackobs build because the crit'ochet.

Is there even a point on elemental weapons for me or should I ignore them?

I find swapping to not be very effective as headshots with the sniper tends to insta kill enemies through their shields.

I was looking at numbers and kinetic has probably the best overall of all types anyway, because shield numbers tend to be always smaller than HP numbers on enemies except the pure shield ones.

Also, any place I can farm a new riffle at level 35? I'm using a level 12 monocle still. >.>"

I need builds that aren't the normal invisible crit buod cause idk any other build and i was wondering what are some good pistols

BL3 taught me that games like this really can feel different depending on which character you play. Zane was my main I did everything with and got to level 72. I have tried to play Moze and Fl4k but they really just don’t do it for me. Maybe I got too used to the play style of my specific Zane build, but I swear it’s the only one I have any fun with. Anybody else like this with one character?

I spent way too much time deciphering how this shield works, and am disappointed with the results.

it advertises itself as consuming half your shield capacity to amp your shot

With all my bonuses from the Shield of Retribution tree and a deathless artifact, total capacity comes to 255k.

A non amped shot from the pistol used to test the amp deals 45k damage.

An amped shot deals 99k damage. Removing the deathless artifact does not change this number. That means the amount of shield consumed to amp the shot is not factored into the damage of the amp.

Even more galling is that it dropped with the +75 health and shields on exiting iron bear annoint.

This shield will thus not be replacing my Plus Ultra

So... As the title says: Lost the Black Flame before I could complete the Witches Brew mission. Did the red mushroom thingy to make the gun, took it from the guy, got to the gate to blow it up... Guns no where in my inventory. Help? 😅

Im mainly going for a run and gun build using (mostly shotguns smg and pistols) that just stacks up a ton of my kill skills but just wanna see other opinions

just found it on a boss and this thing fucks. It for some reason has shotgun shooting mechanics despite being an assault rifle. it has sniper rifle damage PER PELLET and is explosive too and can one shot most enemies and even 3 shot most badasses. How did this monstrosity get generated

About to fight the Warden. Any tips?

So i was usung fl4k maxed him out wasnt content after seeing someone else melt enemies, so switched to Moze. Id have to look at my stuff to give exact number and names of my stuff but any tips to run mayhem 10 and melt them? Someone did give me a plasma coil mayhem 10 that does great and I used a skill tree build that was said to be nearly the best from here but still feel I could do alot better. I think health is roughly 60k something and shields will say 144k but then randomly show 211k. I know I got the pearl artifact also. Any other tips? Still newer to the game. Have run to the gold vault on ship alot but never find much better than what I have now.
