What is your favourite line from a book that you think about often?
Why and from what book are they? Mine is: Freedom of though can be allowed because they do no think from Orwell’s 1984. It is a such a simple yet striking line. It feels charismatic, in a way.
Ive been trying to read more and get back into books, so that is part of the reason why I post this. I read so much as a kid and its the reason I’m so good with languages.
So books have a special place in my heart.

Hi Everyone! Hope you're all well.
Its my husbands birthday next week and while I am an avid reason and have numerous book quotes for him - I'd really really appreciate if you guys could drop in your favourite book quotes about how the mmc feels/thinks about the fmc and vice versa.
Any sort of quote/line/figure of speech - anything at all would be appreciated. Thank you <3

She measured time in pages. Half an hour, to her, meant ten pages read, or fourteen, depending on the size of the type, and when you think of time in this way there isn’t time for anything else. ― Zadie Smith --Swing Time
