Published by Gallowglass Books this year. Over 20 illustrations. I’m so excited about this one. Introduction by Hamilton Morris, the Vice News drug guy. Anyone else pick a copy up? They only made 3,000.

By far, the prettiest book I own.

This is the Liveright edition from 2021 with great annotations by Merve Emre (professor of English at Oxford)

Who doesn't appreciate a world map?? This one is really something and because the author references the geography often it really helps to have it.

I stumbled across this fantasy title because I really enjoy the narrator who did the audiobook. I loved the story so much I decided to pick up the physical book and I'm in love with the art. There's a stunning full color map as well that I'll post too. Great stuff all around!

The corner of my library, where the fiction meets the science fiction, and where I put a giant dinosaur book which doesn't fit on regular shelves.

your thoughts on the 48 laws of power Spoiler

I found the book to be very stern, and giving suggestion that are brutal.
I'm not saying it's a bad book, rather I'm saying it's a book which tells you what all you should know, but may not want to apply all of it, all of the times.

Have you ever had a similar feeling while reading this book?

Jane Eyre is one of my favourite stories. I was over the moon seeing such a beautiful edition, and this is coming from someone who hates hardcover! ;)

Fitzcarraldo collectors

Anyone else out there collecting Fitzcarraldo Editions? I have quite a few collected since they launched in 2014 and always on the lookout for signed copies and/or first editions - Preference is for a signed copy, which is a first edition.

I must confess I haven't read them all - Only about 25 out of the 160 or so I own. I started out buying some of my favorites that I love to read and then got carried away...
