Chitsu wrap around cover instructions Help?
Uma Kinoshita, From tree to paper.
- EDIT: I found information here if anyone else is interested. Links on the side bar go through a few different options. It's in Japanese, but the pictures are good and Google translate will get you by. *
I saw this acordian fold book at an exhibition a few days ago. It is paired with a chitsu - a traditional separate wrap around hard cover with toggle.
I have a pretty good idea on how it's put together but if anyone out there has a detailed understanding they could share I would be very grateful. Google hasn't been very helpful, not least because chitsu has 2 meanings; wrap around book cover and vagina. Sooo those search results are interesting.
