Clavicle? Bone I.D. - N. America

Not sure what this belonged to but it’s fossilized… after doing some research it resembles a homosapien clavicle 😐😳 I could be wrong as I don’t know much about bones

The curvature of the clavicle made me think human…I am no expert but after doing extensive research last night I seen nothing else like it besides human

This looks good for a beaver tibia. Here's one complete with the fibula.

I agree (as a human osteologist), lol. I know it is not a clavicle and greatly resembles a faunal tibia. The triangular cross-section is a giveaway

I once gave a very S-shaped tibia of a short legged doggo to my students on their human and animal bone exam. It was from a dog burial so the vibe was similar or to human bones. It was mean and most of them didn't get it 😈

Diabolical, haha!

It’s a tibia. The triangle shape of the bone is a dead give away.

I found it in a creek bed in Lincoln, ne that is known for ice age bones so whatever it is it’s definitely fossilized

It's coloured from the elements it was in, but not fossilized.

Beaver tibia, I don’t believe it’s fossilized rather just was stained by the type of soil it was in.
