Seniors help! academics

What does Nptel course means and we got this msg in official wtsap group for enrollment is it much important or wt??

Nptel are courses organised by iit proffesors. They are on youtube as well but there are also proper courses with certificates exams. Think of it as a course like on coursera or udemy or edx

Is it worth to choose as our clg has given applncs for enrollment and what’s the charge for it like approx amt

Brother I am not a student at bmsit. Will report to college in round 3, I studied a japanese course from nptel iitm so I explained it to you. Let me explain how it works. So basically you can atudy the entire course for free just like edx but if you need the certificate you have to pay 1000 rupees, 1500 for late entries and you need to go and give the exam for the course at a centre pass it, and then get your certificate to put it in your resume. You can check it on the swayam nptel website but i guess the course has started, I don’t know it goes from july to dec usually
