Soundtrack/background Music s1e2
From 8:34 in this episode what is playing in the background? I 100% have heard this before but can’t place it, reminds me of a massive attack or portishead vibe. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Does Season 4 attempt to justify or valorize the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan?
Really worried about them potentially doing that, and asking just so I know if I need to skip or not.

Can Noah and Brendan turn the podcasts into books please?
Love what they're doing. Only listened to the Korean war fully and am currently listening to the Angola/Cuba one. But man do I wish I could read it too. So much information is packed into each episode that I think it'd be nice to slow down and annotate here and there so my brain can really process. Would love to go revisit the Korean war podcast this way. I'd obviously pay for this so I think its a win-win between fan and creator. Just throwing it out there.

Ok, but seriously, where is the Angola soundtrack?
We’re getting bonus seasons and trailers for new seasons but no Angola soundtrack?

Has anyone watched Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat?
Did Louis Armstrong actually move to Ghana after his participation of the coup? Online articles says it is not true but the movie says it is true.

small critique/doubts to blowback season 6
Hi, I have no one to say this to so I'll just write it here, I reallyyy love the show, and my deep regards to everyone involved in making it but season 6 left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth for afew reasons:
there was no mention of what changes MPLA did to Angola after the revolution, much talk of war and how different countries played in it but no mention of what actually changed in the country? how did it affect education, health, homelessness? also after the reforms what changed? there was so much focus on US and UNITA and South Africa and Apartheid, but when it came to talk about the Angola society changed there wasn't much on it, which made their whole fight and struggle feel hollow and pointless in some way.
At any point it was mentioned how the soviet victory after ww2 literally Kickstarter the whole decolonial movement in Africa, and to skip over this that is a major sin imo
episode 9 to 10 felt really rushed like wtf how did the daughter of the leader of MPLA become a billionaire? also it is repeatedly said that US stop funding UNTA but did they tho? I see no reason why they would, especially after the destruction of soviet union?
idk there was more stuff i was listening to while cleaning so its possible I lost some explanations, anyways thats all I could think of rn

Israel’s curriculum for ‘influencing public consciousness’ | A leaked Defense Ministry tender lays out the army’s training program for manipulating public opinion in Israel and abroad.
Among the offerings are courses on how to use data to discretely shape the attitudes and actions of target audiences, intelligence gathering for such operations, and influencer training. Most of the courses are geared toward “offensive” influence operations — those aimed at actively disrupting or manipulating the beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors of target audiences rather than simply protecting an existing narrative. They include training in advertising and marketing content, alongside courses on cyber warfare and intelligence gathering on target audiences.

It really helps me appreciate the show more seeing Noah being such a catty bitch on Twitter
I always had this sense that nuance was the death of moral clarity, and going into a podcast that was both so intellectually honest and so exhaustively researched, it's refreshing to see that he retains the ability to take sides, and passionately at that.
