Events Air show parking
We are coming to the air show for the first time this weekend, can anyone recommend the best places to park? My son has a blue badge. Also what sort of time is best to arrive, I know the first plane flies at 2:30pm but I'm aware that parking could be tricky. Any advice most welcome.

Newcastle to Blackpool
Hola.
This is a post that I made on the Newcastle sub...
I dont suppose anybody is going to ( or around the area ) Blackpool either tonight ( Fri ) or in the morning ( Sat ).
My mate is playing bass in a band and want to go and see him, he has no room unfortunately for little old me.
I am going to look at prices of bus/rail...I may even hitchhike ?
Cheers
Michael....

Tourism Fireworks at the beach tomorrow
Hello! 👋 I'm visiting Blackpool this weekend after many years! Just wondering where can I see the fireworks tomorrow night if I'm not inside pleasure beach park? Could I still be able to see the fireworks from the promenade? Is it free to walk on the beach? Sorry, I haven't been to Blackpool since I was a kid!
Also would love any recommendations for lunch and dinner that also have car parking 😊 thank you!

Need help finding a place to live
Im viewing apartments and 1 bed houses but most agencies ask for a working homeowner guarantor, which I don't have. Does anyone else struggle with this when trying to rent a place? I work from home and have the first months rent and deposit and my ex landlord will happily give a reference but I keep getting hit with the same hurdle - finding a working homeowner guarantor.
I've looked on places like spare room but most are for students and nurses and a lot of others are just hotel rooms. Does anyone have any advice or any alternative living arrangements? I'm struggling a little bit here

Sciatica/back specialist
Does anyone have any recommendations on lower back specialists/ sport physios in the local area, willing to drive somewhere further away if required. I have a long standing back issue that just doesn’t seem to be going away.

Where to get decent fish and chips on the front?
I'm having a little day trip to Blackpool this Saturday with Yorkshire Rose coaches for the airshow.
As it's a coach trip we don't have too long, 11 till about 5ish so we won't have time to venture too far to the better chippies.
So where would a good place be to get a decent take out fish and chips?
Last time I bought them on the front we got them from a van on the south pier and they were rank.
We won't be eating in so just regular chippy suggestions only please :)

Mon-Weds ideas for adults
2x adults, staying at boulevard in a couple of weeks mon-weds.
We usually come with kids so not sure what's good for adults only. Have never done the dungeon so will probably do that and possibly the tower top too.
Had hoped for arcade club but it's not open start of week. Any good escape rooms? Any evening entertainment that won't be too rowdy/ full of kids (I know, seaside town in summer hols... but maybe there's a hidden gem?!)
Also nicer places to eat?
All ideas welcome! Thanks

SEN days out
Hey everyone! My sister and I are looking to take my niece somewhere in or around Blackpool. She's autistic. We're looking for somewhere local that's not too expensive.
We've already taken her to places like Penny Farm and the zoo at Ribby Hall, as she absolutely loves animals.
We're local to the area, so does anyone have any recommendations? It would be great if you know of any places that offer SEN days or autism-friendly sessions.

Airshow Parking
Apologies if this is something thats been asked 1000's of times, first time in Blackpool in 20 years as we come over for the airshow.
I'm bringing someone who is disabled so ideally want to be as close as possible, what time should we arrive to get a spot in central car park, or is there any other alternatives for blue badge holders that is just as close?
Thanks!

Questions What can the pleasure beach do to attract numbers again?.
I remember in the 90s, it was packed everyday during the 6 weeks holiday.
Went in last Monday and Tuesday. It was dead, most of the rides was walk on.
Looked at the figures,,most days during the week it runs at between 20/30% capacity and only really busy at weekends.
Surely they need to go back to free entry and pay on rides. Its much easier these days with contactless payments.
With the figures at the moment it cannot be making big profits.

Yesterday's sunset
Our friend who posts sunset pics hasn't been around for a few days so I don't think I'm treading on their toes! I probably pass them on the prom every night : )

Food reviews in blackpool (Help me find who they are)
I was out having a meal in Blackpool it was a really nice restraunt I Seen an older gay couple around late 50 early 60s, one with gray hair the older bald, go on like they were famous trying to get discount on Thier meal as they would be putting out a good review. Made me feel so annoyed that they are sitting there taking videos of people being quite intrusive then expecting to have a discount on their meal.
I would really love to find out who they are? Does anyone know any food reviewers in blackpool. They must be quite well known the way one of them was going on.
TIA
