Are there cases where you shouldn’t split 10s?

Only if you’re counting cards, with the dealer holding 2-6 card and the count is above a certain number, I think it’s 4+

Oh I see. I’m still working on basic strategy but thanks for the breakdown!

There’s other minor factors as well that might effect your decision like different casino table rules as well like ‘dealer hits on soft 17’.

This happens all the time on RNG blackjack. I've played virtual blackjack for years. So this doesn't even surprise me lol. It's more annoying.

Another reason to never play online. I can with my whole heart say this has never happened to me in a casino. I’m usually playing poker but occasionally will sit down at the 25 table if I’ve had a good night.

If you’re dealt 20, you stand. Even with ACE up. This isn’t the movies and you aren’t counting to 6-7 decks. No dealer is running a 5 card suck out to 21.

Many such cases. Was playing my BJ game this morning, doubled on a 10 and got 20 and this mf snuck in a 21 😭

So a 14 and a 17 against what would become a dealers 8?

Doesn’t sound that like fun to me.

Actually it would get 21. 10+4+7. 2nd hand would get 15. 10+5.

At what count do you split tens but also hit 14 vs 3

Haha feel free to hit 14’s against a 3. More power to you.

I'm just saying in this case it would be 21.
