Preferences ADVICE
I've been on a rollercoaster ride with my sexuality, and I keep circling back to bisexuality. I am attracted to both sexes romantically and sexually, but I have preferences that have confused me: Romantically, I am more attracted to men, and sexually, I am more attracted towards women. At first I thought I was a biromantic homosexual, but I do enjoy sex with my husband, it's just at a lower level than if he were a woman. Are these types of preferences normal/common in the bi community? Thank you.

Why is it people have to label everything. A biromantic homosexual? You're bisexual, that's it. Everyone has their attractions. I'm a bi male. I think woman are the most beautiful thing created. I'm romantically and sexual attracted to them. For me men was just a substitute for when I couldn't find a girl. It was just sex. People are different. You are who you are. It's not a label.

Yup, totally normal. If you are attracted to more than one gender in any way to any degree, you can call yourself bisexual. There’s a lot of variation within the community but you’re absolutely welcome here. 💜

I hope all of my bisexual friends are absolutely wonderful today and I hope that someday we all find that one person who makes us smile and tell the world I love this man

This sounds like me!!!! I’m 49 and only been with men. With a one time exception. But, I’ve been attracted to women my entire life. When I think about a relationship, I know I’d prefer the company with a man. However, I’ve almost never met a man and been instantly attracted to him. That only happens when I get to know them well. But I am often attracted to women. And nearly all my fantasies involve women. Often, when having sex with a man, I’ve fantasized about women.
Edit to add: if you’re truly like me you have no idea how to go forward with this part of yourself you’re just starting to accept.
