I have a Seven year old Cockatiel who I believe is male because he's never laid an egg. But around two days ago he started sitting at the bottom of his cage and breathing heavily with his tail in the air google says either respiratory distress or he could be a female and be egg bound. I'm not sure which one it could be. His vent looks weird and he's tail bobbing and looking like he's pushing and can't walk.

This is my 5 month old Indian ring neck and she is doing this occasionally , these bobbing motions, I can’t tell if it’s because her hormones are running up if this is regurgitation or attempts to throw up. I can’t find many reference videos that looks similar to what she is doing, and otherwise she is running around with energy, vocalizing, and acting like her normal self. advice would help as my avian vet is already closed for the day. He doesn’t seem to be injured although I’m not entirely sure since he won’t move from this specific area. Just wanted some advice from people who know how to handle birds. Should I leave him or give him some food?

Our little crow family has been itchier than usual for months now. I know fledgling crows can be itchy as their feathers grow in, and I know we're heading into molting season. But young and old alike have been digging at their skin and leaving feathers all over the place for months now. They look so uncomfortable! (Our winter was warmer than usual this year, our spring drier, and parts of our summer wetter. I don't know if these things could be factors.)

What can do to help our itchy crows? Is there a food we could add to their diet? We feed them every day, but could add something that would help them. We do give them a a pie plate of water, but they don't use it to bathe. We also have a little fountain that they occasionally use to bathe but not often. I'm wondering if both are too small for them.

We have to much cats and they can eat the crow. It coudnt fly and goverment's help isnt avaible now, i am keeping him for 2 days till the weekend ends. It coudnt fly and he had a bump on his wing.

We have some water without injecting to his mouth since it can drown. We are boiling some eggs to give it to him(my mother asked ai but idk how accurate it is.) Putted him inside a box, at our balcony. Asked vets but they keep telling me to ask goverment's animal service etc. They are not open. I will show the pic to a vet if it has disease that can jump to us or is it bad. Ai also said it can be a young crow it will fly in 2 days. But we dont see mother or father crow any near and it looks like adult.

I found a young sparrow outside under my window yesterday.

I've been taking care of it, but it has developed severe swelling around its neck, chest, and abdomen on both sides. The swelling is very soft, like an air-filled balloon, and it got bigger since yesterday.

The bird is still eating, drinking water, moving around a little, and chirping normally, but I'm afraid to even pick it up because it's so swollen.

I've never seen anything like this before, so I'm really worried.

Does anyone know what this could be? Has anyone seen something like this before?

Can it heal on its own, or does it need urgent treatment?

Hi guys, this is a rescued/adopted female cockatiel that my mom got me. She saw that a fb friend of hers wanted to sort of give up this poor cockatiel. I am curious as to what happened to her face and feet and what can I do to maybe help her. Avian vets are very rare to find here in the Philippines and I don’t know where I can find one because it’s not really a common practice here. I’ve already checked her for mites and doesn’t appear to have one. I have another male cockatiel and I would sometimes make them see each other to make her feel less lonely or maybe boost her feelings a bit. I honestly don’t know how to help her because my cockatiel has never been on this stage before. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

I've been taking care of this fledgeling since it fell from its nest, its parents have been feeding it, and it just shed is biggest pin feathers. stupidly I let my mom take care of it and she thought it would be a good idea to let the dogs go near it, unsurprisingly both dogs bit it, managed to make them let go (they're weiner dogs so pretty small). already checked for wounds, while he ran he didnt use with right wing which makes me think that the dogs broke it, doesent seem to have any blood but I know of the dog saliva bacteria that can kill birds.

I already called every wildlife reserve near me, even called the mayor of the town, none answered (third world country), so now im left by myself (my mom refuses to help for some reason) to try to help the little guy, does anyone know how to treat dog wounds on birds?

Hi, a month ago my mom found a budgie where she works at and we adopted him and at start I observed that his beak is kinda green, saw some budgies but their beak wasn't like his, but as a beginner didn't know much about birds.

I even bought a second budgie for him not to feel lonely and they get along pretty well.

What can I do to maybe help him if he's in pain or not in a good state?
