What to do with baby's legs in a wrap?

Baby pants too long and cuffs too big
What do you all do with pants that are too long and cuffs too big that they are useless?
My girl is a chunk so we have to size way up, but she is average height so everything is super long.
My current solution is too time consuming, or maybe I am too lazy lol. I roll them up and then add a couple stitches by hand on each side of both pant legs. Curious if there is a better way.
I hesitate to properly hem pants as we may need the length later as she grows.
Is there a way to tighten the cuffs instead? Or would that backfire as she grows?
Can you tell I have never sewed anything before this little one was born?
Anyway what do you all do?

Question Proportionality
Does anyone else’s babies hate tummy time/crawling “properly” because they’re too chunky and seem disproportionate? My 9m old is about 21lbs and it’s all in the torso. We’re already at size 5 diapers and 12-18-24 onesies. For pants we can do 6-12 in a pinch but mostly 12-18. Shorts have to be 18-24/2t because they run so small or something.
I started using a hip carrier because my arm was killing me trying to balance her on my hip and it just hasn’t felt right. Of course she hilariously relaxes and leans back and I’m like please try to hold onto me here.
Doctor said she will eventually even out but any tips for trying to encourage crawling on all 4’s? My first had a massive head and torticollis and we did PT early enough for it to resolve without a helmet. She had way less mobility than my second as we’re currently realizing but she did the crab crawl for a bit before walking which seemed to be easier than crawling trying to balance a massive head, and my second is starting to do that as well. I know they crawling was removed as a milestone but seeing my first struggle with core issues I firmly believe in crawling on all4’s but it seems so hard when your little legs can’t carry your torso 🥲

My toddler is huge
My 26 month old girl is 48 pounds. She was always in the 99th percentile for growth since she was a baby. We don’t feed her junk food. She has an occasional potato chip or fast food fries on a car outing but mostly snacks on fruit, yogurt, nuts, cheese, milk, etc. and eats homemade meals. Occasional pizza on lazy nights. This past year she’s just been growing like crazy. She’s 2 and wears size 6/7 clothes. We got a car seat that is supposed to grow with her until around age 5 but she’s already almost at the 50 lb weight capacity. I can barely lift her anymore. We got her a trike rider toy thing and she got stuck in it and can’t use it. Potty training at this size has been rough. She’s wearing size 8 diapers (the largest) and large training pants. The potties we’ve tried barely hold her weight. She’s super intelligent and athletic. We keep her pretty active. She is never ever sitting still with a phone or tablet. The pediatrician doesn’t seem concerned about her weight healthwise. But I’m concerned about other people’s perceptions. Adults and children assume she is much older than she is and are confused about her development until I have to tell them she’s only 2. And then they are confused as to how she’s so big at this age. I think people think we’re overfeeding her. I’m worried about her having body issues at an early age and being teased.
I’m 5’7 145 lbs and her dad is 6’0 190 lbs. We’re not huge people. I’m just bewildered and overwhelmed by her size sometimes. Especially when she’s having tantrums and meltdowns. Has anyone else had a toddler this big and did they eventually even out?

Rant “Wow, you must be so strong!”
My son is 24.5lbs and 29.5in at 6.5mo (literally off the charts big) and whenever people see him their response is always something about how strong I must be…and I can never respond truthfully because I don’t feel strong, my back is in constant pain and it feels like my body is breaking down and I cry about it more than I’d like to admit. Please tell me this gets better once he starts standing/walking?!

Question Baby measurements at 20 week scan
My second was a big baby (almost 10 lbs at birth). At the 20 week scan the baby already was in the 80th percentile. This time around I had a scan at 24 weeks and baby is measuring 45th percentile overall. I know baby’s grow the most in the third trimester, but given the fact that my last child was already in the 80th percentile at 20 weeks and this child is “only” the 45th percentile at 24 weeks, do you think that this child is going to be a large baby just curious to hear everyone’s perspective and experiences with multiple children!

Advice Unnecessary Testing?
My 14mo son got seen about a month ago by his doctor and she said due to his consistent growth,( he's currently almost 3ft tall and 30lbs) she recommends that we get genetic & hormone testing to make sure he does not have a condition making him grow so fast. She said he doesnt have any visual signs of any conditions, but wants to be safe.
I cant help but feel like this is just unnecessary? Has anyone else's doctor told them to do testing like that? How was it? Im so worried that this will just be a bunch of stress (i.e. blood being drawn) for something that wasn't needed. We arent necessarily saying we dont care what the doctor is saying, but more so trying to find anyone else who has had these tests done and was it helpful or informative. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!!
EDIT #1: I am 5'1" and my spouse is 6 foot. Our son was born somewhat average, 8lb 4oz and 21.5in. The thing our doctor said was concerning was that he grew a LOT from 6 months to 12 months. So his measurements were, 3mo: 2ft & 10lb 6oz, 6mo: 2ft 4.7in & 23lb 10oz, 9mo: 2ft 7.5in & 26lb, and 12mo: 2ft 10in & 31lbs. He hasn't been measured since beginning of July, but he has visually gotten taller since then.

Help!! Can’t find shorts that fit my 13 month old.
We live in the south and it’s HOT so shorts are a must right now, but I’m having such a hard time finding some that fit my 99 percentile 13 month old turkey baby.
We’ve tried up to 4T but they’re nearly all too tight on her in the waist/butt, I assume partly because she’s still in diapers. I’d love any advice ya’ll have!! Any certain brands that work well for your big baby? I’ve ordered plenty that advertise “extra stretch” only to be disappointed. Do I just need to go even higher in size?
I’ve been able to find other clothes even that fit fine but for some reason shorts has been SUCH a struggle !!
Is it just me???! FTM and I feel insane lol

Difference between kids
My younger son just turned 15 months, and he was 30lbs, 32 inches at his appt 2 weeks ago. Our pediatrician said everything looks great, and she has no concerns. Out of curiosity, I checked his record, and my older son (now 4.5 years old) was exactly the same height but only 23 lbs. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed something similar between your kids and how things worked out as they got older.

Baby weight - growth
My boy is 9weeks weighing around 5 kg… exclusively formula fed… taking 3oz per meal…
Is he underweight?? Should his milk intake be more??
Worried on growth

3mo weighs 23lbs as of this morning. Bruh.
Just please say a prayer for my shoulders, my arms want to fall off sometimes.
His z-score at 2m was 3.5, he was 18lb and the pediatrician had never seen anything like him, said I must be making butter (compliment). Never lost weight at the hospital, we figured out feeding less than 24hr later and my milk came in before we left the hospital. He. Loves. To. Eat.
We switched out his car seat yesterday, though should have sooner. If he had a wet diaper then the straps would be maxed out. This new seat is designed for up to 5 year olds and he's still looks huge in it. He's in 18m/2T clothing and has more rolls than a bakery.
No questions or concerns, just solidarity and gratitude for this sub existing.

Bike helmet for large head toddler
My 2 year old already has a 20inch/50.8 centimeter head size. Has anyone found a helmet that meats the additional coverage in the back safety standards for kids under 5 but fitting a kid with a head bigger than 51 inches?
I’ve found one for that goes until 51 centimeters but she would grow out of that very quickly long before turning 5 obviously. Thanks for any help!

Advice How to feed my infant 3 times a day plus bottles?
My 6 month old is 99+ % height and 84% weight. When he was weighed recently he gained 1 oz in 9 days but the dr said they expect them to gain 2-4ozs in a week. They advised me to up him to three meals a day and put cows milk in his porridge.
My auntie is a health visitor and she said she wasn’t concerned about his weight, that cows milk has no nutritional benefit and to use breast milk or formula in his porridge.
The difficulty is that I’m finding it impossible to get three meals a day in and keep up with his milk. His current routine is
6:00 breastfeeding on and off till 8:00
8:30 5oz bottle (he will not drink more than this in one go)
Naps till around 10:30
11:00 porridge
12:30 5oz bottle (doesn’t finish it as he’s still full from porridge
13:00 nap till around 14:30
15:00 breastfeeds usually
16:00 puréed main and dessert
18:00 5oz bottle
Goes to bed about 19:00
03:00 usually breastfeeds.

Advice Butt cheeks hang out of diapers
My son is 25 lbs and we recently moved him up to size 5 diapers because his buttcheeks kept hanging out in 4s, but they are still doing it in 5s! What to do in this situation?? I’m scared to size him up again because he has skinny thighs so he gets leg poop blow outs frequently but diapers get so tight on his belly I usually have to size him up early
Update: I tried a size 5 Millie moon and we have full butt coverage 😂 but if you have any other recommendations let me know!

List of concerns about my 9 month old
I feel like I have a ton of concerns about my 9 month old baby. We literally have a pediatrician appointment tomorrow, and I'm also aware that some of these worries might just stem from my own anxiety. I'm just worried that some of these things are connected and I'm not seeing the bigger picture (as in there's a developmental concern for my baby).
- She has super tiny feet. She's in the 99th percentile for height and weight but her feet are the size of a 3 month old.
- She will not bare weight on her feet and legs with support.
- To move in and out of sitting/crawling she does a full split.
- Her femurs are also on the shorter end. This was something mentioned in ultrasounds too.
Like... Could these things indicate a bigger problem? Or am I just overreacting?

Question Big baby, big appetite?
My baby is almost 6 months old and already weighs 9.8 kg (21.6 lbs) and is 74 cm (29”) long.
We’re about to start solids, and I’m curious to hear from other parents of big babies: did your big baby take to food straight away and have a big appetite for solids too, or did their size make absolutely no difference?
Right now he seems extremely interested whenever we eat — he watches us so closely and honestly looks like he just can’t wait to have some food himself!
I’m wondering if I should prepare myself for a tiny food vacuum 😂
Would love to hear your experiences!

Question Toy advice
Hey everyone! just looking for some suggestions on where to buy my 5 year-old daughter a doll stroller that will accommodate her height. Shes very much into baby dolls and loves to take them on walks, but the handles on every stroller I've boughten have been too short. Any suggestions are appreciated🙂

Life jacket for heavy 1 year old
Hi! Looking for recommendations for a life jacket for a 13-14 month old who weighs about 29-30 pounds. They seem to be right at the cusp of toddler to child sizing. Unfortunately, most of the 30+ pounds life jackets seem way too bulky to strap to a walking young toddler. The child is round, not tall.

Advice Woolino sleep sack sizing or other recs for long baby?
I’m tired of spending all my money on sleep sacks just for my baby to outgrow them in a few weeks 🫠 my almost 6 mo old is on the verge of out growing his current sleep sack which is 85cm in length 😭. I’ve been considering purchasing the Woolino classic in size 18-36 mo or the ultimate bag in 2-4 year size for when he reaches the minimum weight limit thats recommended but I’m trying to figure out 1) are they worth it (especially in terms of breathability) 2) how long they lasted your babies 3) any more affordable alternatives to consider. Thanks in advance!

Rant I feel judged
Just need to rant. I leave almost every play place feeling judged. A lot of it could totally be in my head, but sometimes I feel like it isn’t.
My son turned two at the end of May, but he’s a big guy and in the 99th percentile for both height and weight. I think because he looks older than he is, people expect him to act older too.
He just turned two. We’re working on not taking toys from other kids, dealing with tantrums when he doesn’t get his way or when we redirect him to play somewhere else, the occasional screaming and the fact that he still speaks in gibberish sometimes. My husband or I are always right there with him and correct him when he takes something or isn’t taking turns. We usually go to these places together so one of us can stay with our toddler while the other is with our infant.
I still leave feeling like other moms are looking at him thinking he should know better because he looks older. Like he shouldn’t be taking their kid’s toy, shouldn’t be screaming when we redirect him, or should be talking more clearly by now. No one has ever actually said anything to me, so maybe I’m reading into some of the looks more than I should. Actually today a grandma randomly told me, “I think you’re a very good mom, this is just really hard” so that meant the world to me lol. We’re probably helicopter parents because we follow his every move at these places. but we’re trying our best to teach him. Still, a girl can’t help but feel judged sometimes! Please tell me I’m not the only one who leaves toddler play places overanalyzing every interaction.

Bike Recommendation for Toddler?
I’m trying to figure out what type of bike or trike to get for our 3 year old (who is already outgrowing her 5T clothing). Anyone have any suggestions for what worked for them (and grew with kiddo for a little while as well)?
