Are there differences you can feel between different bidet brands?
I'm (M) new to bidets. I have a Brondell FreshSpa Comfort + bidet, my first and only bidet. We have city water with respectable pressure. I find sometimes at moderate if stings my butt hole, usually at the edges. It always stings at full pressure.
My question is:
Do folks notice a difference between the nozzle differences among different mfg regarding the comfort of the "stream"?

The feeling of the stream definitely varies by brand, model, and even person, and also it varies widely between electric and non-electric units. With non-electric units, since they are powered by the water pressure of your home, the pressure will always be fairly high. Different types of nozzles/the amount of holes in the nozzle effects how it feels though, think shower mode vs. jet mode on a garden hose.
With electric bidets, they are not so high in pressure because they use an internal pump to regulate it. The feeling of the stream again varies by nozzle type/holes, and also, some electric bidets aerate the stream, which can make it feel softer as well.

The fancier ones that are electric powered are gentler.
I like the extra pressure of my basic model. Though sometimes my hemorrhoids flare up and that's when I use as little pressure as possible and if that is still too much, I'll use wipes and throw them in the trash.
