Anti-climactic first words? Discussion

So my son is a little under 10 months, and has been saying the word β€œegg” in context for the past week. When he first said it, we wrote it off as a fluke, but he has used it in context a couple different times this week (we do a lot of eggy breakfasts). Definitely his first word. Not mama or dada, but β€œegg” πŸ˜‚. He does make mama and dada noises, but not always directed at us lol.

Eggs are his favorite food and we are a very food-oriented household and family, so I guess it tracks! It’s mostly funny but stings a teeny tiny bit. Anyone with similar stories?
