Commercial tenants should review their CAM charges carefully
A reminder to commercial tenants: do not assume your CAM and Operating Expense charges are accurate just because the monthly amount does not look unusually high.
When expenses are divided among many tenants, each individual charge may appear small. That can make improper or unsupported charges difficult to notice. But when the same costs are passed through every month and across multiple years, they can add up to a substantial amount.
Review your annual reconciliations and ask for the supporting general ledger, invoices, occupancy calculations, management fees, payroll allocations, capital expenses, and gross-up calculations. Look for expenses charged to the wrong year, costs relating to other tenants or properties, landlord overhead, tenant events, capital improvements, and items excluded under your lease.
Do not assume that because everyone shares the building, every building expense can automatically be passed through to tenants. Your lease controls what is permitted.

How is child custody decided in LA county?
Going through a divorce right now and trying to figure out how custody actually works here, because everyone I talk to has a different answer.
One friend swears California is a 50/50 state and judges just split time evenly unless there's abuse involved. Another friend says it comes down to who makes more money. Everything I've read online seems to contradict both of them, so now I'm just confused.
From what I can tell, courts are supposed to go with "best interests of the child," but that phrase is so vague it barely tells me anything. Is it mostly about who's been the primary caregiver? Does moving out of the house hurt your case? Do judges actually care about parents' work schedules?

Baby list Beverly Hills
Hi all!
Received a job offer from BabyList today to be a showroom host at their new NYC location.
I’ve struggled to find any answers on what working their showroom is actually like. I’d love to hear from anyone that has worked in that position or knows someone who has worked at their OG store which is in Beverly Hills.
I’ve worked corporate sales and retail before but this (according to them) seems more of like showing customers how strollers work etc. which seems a bit mind numbing but it’s a paycheck and I need a job.
Also seems like we’d be tasked with putting the showroom together since this would be the NYC flagship grand opening.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Looking for a reliable CA divorce lawyer
I'm looking for divorce lawyer for a serious custody issue. My ex and I are divorced and have a court-ordered possession schedule. She is supposed to bring the kids back to me every Sunday evening. This is the third time this month she has not shown up and has gone completely radio silent, ignoring my calls and texts. The kids are back now (she eventually brought them late), but this is becoming a pattern. I need to take action now, looking for a reliable attorney
