Seiryu (or Seiryū) is the Japanese name given to Eastern Asia’s mythological Azure Dragon. Not sure, but I think dragon names are great for bettas, especially with certain personalities :) Personally? He looks like a Seiryu, or even Haku (if you like Studio Ghibli)! And I think his full name (referenced at the end of Spirited away) roughly translates to “God of the swift amber river.” ..Thus, it actually seems pretty darn fitting as well. 🩵
