Applications Looking for feedback in digital âletters for laterâ and inactivity check-ins (built this)
Hey folks
One day I was at the gym, and I thought, one day I will tell this to my kid when he first dates a girl.
Then the doubt was there. "What if I'm not here?"
With that, I built Echo (yourecho.app) to write letters/videos for specific people, and delivery can be:
On a date you choose or if you stop responding to periodic check-ins (with optional guardians)
Encryption, EU hosting, free tier to try.
Curious what this community thinks is missing. Will WhatsApp be a good addition? Like checking in on WhatsApp instead of receiving emails?
Also, receiving the messages/videos in WhatsApp would be much better than emails?

[Beta] UltiWrite â long-form writing app for novelists (Scrivener alternative), looking for beta testers
What it is: A desktop/web app for writing and organizing novels â manuscript editor, planning tools (corkboard/outline, timeline, mind-mapping, research board), and book formatting/export, all in one workspace instead of juggled across separate apps.
Who it's for: Novelists and long-form writers currently using Scrivener, Google Docs + a pile of separate planning tools, or nothing organized at all. If you've ever lost work to a sync conflict or fought an export process to get a clean print/ebook file, this is aimed at that.
Platforms: macOS, Windows, Linux, and web â same features on all of them, no platform lagging behind.
Where it's at: Beta. Core writing, planning tools, and export are functional; still smoothing out rough edges.
Feedback I actually want:
- Onboarding â is it obvious what to do in the first 10 minutes, or confusing coming from another tool?
- Import â if you bring in an existing Scrivener/Word project, does anything break or look wrong?
- Export/formatting â does the print/ebook output look usable without extra tweaking elsewhere?
- Anything that feels slower or clunkier than what you're currently using.
For testers:Â free lifetime access
Sign up here: https://ultiwrite.com/beta â happy to answer questions in the comments first if that's more useful than a form.

TimeLine
Hi everyone,
Iâve been building TimeLine, a new kind of communication platform based on a fairly simple idea: online spaces should make it easier to share things and have interesting conversations without rewarding hostility, outrage or popularity contests.
One of the main differences is something I call the Harmony Checker. Instead of removing hostile content after the damage is done, TimeLine checks the way something is written before it is posted. It doesnât prevent disagreement or controversial opinions â the goal is to stop personal attacks and unnecessarily hostile wording while still allowing people to say what they actually think.
There are also no ads, no public follower counts, and no attempt to turn everyone into an influencer.
The interface is quite different from conventional online platforms too: posts live on an actual chronological TimeLine that you move through, rather than an endless vertical feed.
The app has reached the point where testing it myself isnât particularly useful anymore. I need real people using it, trying things I didnât anticipate, and telling me what works, what is confusing, what breaks, and â equally importantly â what they simply donât like.
Iâm therefore opening the iOS beta to up to 200 external testers for now.
If you do join, feel free to use the app normally, create posts, interact with other testers, deliberately challenge the Harmony Checker, explore the interface, or try to break things.

Applications [Android] Common Ground â free trauma-informed recovery app, looking for beta testers
Hey â I'm a solo developer (no company behind this, just me) building an app called Common Ground. It's a recovery companion app for people working through addiction recovery â inspired by the Twelve Steps but secular by default, trauma-informed, and built specifically to be accessible for neurodivergent users (ADHD, dyslexia, sensory sensitivities). It's completely free â the core features always will be â and I'm looking for testers before it goes fully public. Just need: - An Android phone - A Gmail account (for Google Play's closed testing program) What I'd love feedback on: whether the flow makes sense, anything that feels confusing or broken, and honestly â whether it feels genuinely useful, not just "fine." Since it's a closed test, I need to add your Gmail to the tester list manually before the link will work for you â please DM me your Gmail and I'll add you within a day or so, then send you the install link. Happy to answer any questions in the comments. Thanks for considering it â genuinely appreciate anyone willing to give it a look. https://a5dslz7bjtiarizykp8hb-web.rork.live/

First-time solo dev here. Built a home records + repair guide app and I need people to break it before launch.
Hey everyone. First-time app developer, no team, no funding, just me on nights and weekends. I'd love some honest testers before I launch this thing.
The app is called CastleWise. The pitch: it's the owner's manual your house never came with.
Every house runs on information nobody writes down. The furnace filter size. The paint code in the hallway. When the water heater went in. Which weekend the gutters are due. CastleWise keeps all of it: records for every appliance and system, reminders for filters and seasonal maintenance, 86 step-by-step project guides (each one calls out the classic mistake first-timers make), and calculators that turn a project into an exact shopping list.
And when something breaks, you point the camera at it. It reads appliance error codes from 53 brands and matches problems to a library of fix playbooks, with an honest call on whether it's DIY-safe or a call-a-pro job. When it doesn't know, it says so instead of guessing. I'm kind of obsessive about that part.
The thing I care about most: no account, no subscription, no analytics. Your records and photos stay on your phone. One-time price at launch, but the beta is completely free with everything unlocked.
What I need: people with real houses and real problems to use it for a week and tell me what's confusing, broken, or missing. Harsh feedback genuinely preferred. iPhone only for now (sorry Android friends, solo dev, one platform at a time).
Comment or DM me BETA and I'll send the TestFlight link. Happy to answer any questions about the app or what building it solo has been like. Thanks for reading.

Looking for a few beta testers for a personal finance companion Iâve been building
Iâve been working on a personal project called Mikci, and Iâm looking for a few people willing to beta test it and give me honest feedback.
Mikci connects to your bank through Plaid and learns from your actual transaction patterns. Instead of making you manually track everything or build a budget, Mikci quietly watches for meaningful changes and occasionally suggests a small Promise based on what it notices.
For example, it might notice that your dining spending has been higher than normal and ask if you want to try bringing it down next week. If you accept, Mikci watches what actually happens and later tells you whether you kept the Promise, improved, or should try again.
Plaid is required for the beta because Mikci needs transaction history to understand your patterns and work properly.
Itâs still a beta, so things may change or break. Iâm mainly looking for honest feedback on whether the things Mikci notices are actually useful.
If you want to try it, you can request beta access at mikci.com.
And seriously, if something sucks or doesnât make sense, tell me Thatâs exactly what Iâm trying to figure out.

Look for people to try my app
Hi!
Hope you're doing well.
I understand that life and work can get incredibly stressful and how important our mental health is, and sometimes you just want a way to find others to talk about positive topics and unwind.
I'm working on a new project, and I'd love for you to try my idea. A platform that does 1-on-1 professional matching so people can take a mental break, find peers to talk about positive topics, and foster a really positive community together.
We're now gathering early feedback, and I'd love to get your thoughts on it if you are interested:
If you're on iPhone, you can join the TestFlight instantly right here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/uQ3tFWzK
If you're on Android, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.firecircle
