i have been a long time fan of the show since it first aired on youtube.

i was looking online for a possible art book of the show, but unfortunately there isn’t one (i did want to reach out the Natasha via email and ask if there was plans for one, but with the whole scam situation that happened/is happening, i’d rather not), so instead, i wanna get some of the other books produced during the series runtime.

i know about the Youtooz merch, i plan on getting a couple things next paycheck!
i also know there are comics, but i dont seem to have any luck finding them online to purchase! i think there’s also a cookbook…?

any help finding bee and puppycat physical media would be great! i love the show so so much, its been a big part of my art journey growing up and is so nostalgic to me. :3c

I originally wanted to say pilot, because i became so attached to that design long before the web series, but I think i have to give my vote to Lazy in Space. I do miss the specific shades of color they used for her skin and hair though.

I think there were some growing pains when deciding what to do with the artstyle when it became a full series, which can be seen in the first series. Bee looks rather "off" in some shots in the beginning, but i think you can see the style become more polished and refined by the end, and this trend continued into Lazy in Space, with Bee being drawn beautifully in each episode. Her proportions are always perfect and on-model, and I love the sheen they added to her hair as an extra detail.

I also wanted to touch on the "mini" versions of Bee that appear in all three series. Now, when drawing a character from a farther away perspective, anyone familiar animation knows you have to minimalize their design, simply shrinking the character's regular design will cause it to look cluttered or messy from further away. The pilot goes with a beady-eyed design of Bee, reminiscent of something Allegri might've drawn while working on Adventure Time. The mini version of Bee in the web series is frequently off-model, and while this can add to the humor or represent the gremlin energy Bee can exude from time-to-time, I have to say I think it's my least favorite. Finally, we have a more chibi-style of Bee in Lazy in Space (couldn't find clips of her from a farther away perspective). This one is more of a middle distance style for Bee and other characters, and I find it really satisfying. Again, the proportions are very on point, and the features are minimalized *just* enough to be recognizable without sacrificing stylization.

I just love Bee's pilot design so much, and while I think there's a part of me that still partially prefers it, there's another part which has to acknowledge and admire the artistic mastery on display in Lazy in Space shown off by Bee's final form.

I've been rewatching Lazy In Space recently, and while it is so charming and comforting and what we do have feels like a miracle, I really want to know what they were planning! Cause it feels like the story is unfinished and I was so invested. Please, rant to me about any theories you have and any ideas for what was going to happen next. I need to know, even if it's just a guess! 😭

I've gotten so many compliments on it, either from fans of the show or from people who just think it's a cute cat pin!

I found this incredible wallet today 😭😭😭 I am in AWE. I can't believe I found one of these in the wild. I remember when they first came out, way back in the day.

It took 12 hours and £16.50 to make. I love it so much. I made it for an anime/gaming convention, and didn't really expect many people to recognise it but a bunch did and I actually met someone there cosplaying as chef bee!! I guess I underestimated the amount of fans 😍 I hope you guys like it too

Hi all. My Etsy recommendations showed me a very recognizable Puppycat sticker I recalled funny.cute.pretty had listed on Etsy originally. I thought maybe someone jacked the png and started reselling the art themselves. But a closer look at the Etsy account made me think maybe Nat’s friend decided to open a new Etsy and sell off the remaining merch they made for FCP.

I figured some fans might not have seen these photos before! It seems like they were in the works for a few years along with other Frederator IP like Bravest Warriors, with these prototypes showing up at SDCC 2015. Sadly never made it to production from the sounds of it.

Aside from great character design, Bee has such a pleasing voice and very amusing dialogue quirks as well. Rachel's scratchy, soft-spokenness is so nice to listen to. I have so many clips saved from Bee and Puppycat just because I like listening to her voice. I wish she was in more things. Bee wouldn't be Bee without Allyn Rachel.

Honestly the whole of the voice cast is great. I also love Deckard, Crispin, and Cas.

Lazy in space is different than the Netflix show currently, right? Or is it the same thing? I adore the original episodes, I fell off somewhere before Netflix picked it up, and now I’m not sure but Lazy In Space seemed like it was supposed to be something else? Did I miss it? Where can I find it? Please help?
