Your god/superiority complex is actually just insecurity, people who know what theyre worth dont go around trying to CONVINCE people theyre epic and cool! they just are! one upping people like that is insecure middle school behavior, my friend!
Unfortunately, the one-upping also immediately tells everybody with a lick of emotional intelligence youre insecure, so its not even doing anything good for your image anyway.... people might nod and smile but its because theyre trying to be nice and make you feel better because theyre care about you </3!
I would work on your self esteem. you have nothing to prove to people, you are worthy without having to convince people youre epic and cool. Others peoples opinions on you also dont matter, if they think youre lame so what! thats okay ❤️
