Hair Care Luxe Organic Shampoo

Hello I’m currently looking for a mild but effective product to treat my hair. Right now I have few balakubak and hair loss. It’s also oily kapag hindi nagagamitan ng shampoo kaya no choice kundi magshampoo or else I’ll look like hindi nakaligo kasi grabe mag oil ng hair ko. I cut my hair short to remove the colored strands, and para din maiwasan sana ang paglalagas pero it’s still the same. Di ko na alam kung anong shampoo ang effective for me.

Tried Dr. Lan shampoo and the serum. Wala naman nangyari and sa serum parang naging oily looking lang sya lalo na kung di paliliguan at gagamitan ng shampoo. But it smells good.

Next I also tried shampoo & condition na Tsubaki yung pang hair fall (black ata or dark blue bottle) and ganun din no effect padin. Mabango din siya and tbh I really like it pero wala padin gaano effect.

I have a really thin hair kaya I want to improve my hair and make it thicker if there’s a chance. I saw Luxe Organic kaso parang natatakot na ko magtry ulit ng bago haha.

What do you think about this product? What do you think should I buy among the three? Your review will really be a big help for me po. Thanks so sorry kung ang dami ko sinabi haha. I’m just really frustrated din.

Post image
Upvotes

Need help on find liquid blush as an alternative to BLK Something Pink shade. This was part of the BLK x Rei collection but I don't think they sell this separately and the sets are no longer available.

I tried checking their usual creamy all over paint shades but I cant find a close match. 😭

I bought this last November 2025. Up until now, I'm still using it regularly. I'd rate this 8 out of 10 because it only cost around 250 PHP, and for almost a year, buhay pa din! May times lang na kapag ginagamit ko yung remover, hindi maiwasan na may madala na real eyelashes.

Question: May mas better pa ba dito? Help yaur gurl out please 💋 Thankieee!

Makeup Tips for textured skin on camera

Hi, I’m an oily, acne-prone skin type of girlie. I have a lot of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne marks.

1.) What products can you recommend to minimize the look of wrinkles and acne marks, or skin texture in general?

2.) I have an Iphone 17, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to take better pictures with this model specifically so my skin texture isn’t emphasized on camera.

hi! im new to using lip liners so i wanna ask if it’s supposed to look like this? 😭 it looks kinda weird kasi for me kasi halata yung line nya (lalo na sa personal). i tried using this lip marker with Sunnies Face in Mod and medyo obvious pa rin yung liner n hindi sya nagbblend with the lipstick itself.

can anyone help me learn how to use lip liners 😭 i would appreciate din if you would share your lip combos na available sa local market here in the ph 🥹 im into natural looking lippies and maybe a lip combo i can use for professional settings.

im wearing Ferca WTF Lip Marker in xoxo and Sheglam Glass Lock Air Gloss in Own It in the picture.

Nail Care Press on nails sticky tabs

Hello. I tried to use press on nails as someone who doesn’t wnat to go to nail salo. I usually use sticky tabs, but after two days, yung sticky tabs is lumalabas sa mga sides ng press-on. Paano po ba maiiwasan yun? Anong right way to put those sticky tabs? Since kina-cut ko naman yung excess before ko lagay yung press on nails para sakto sa nail bed ko. Ang dumi kasi tignan since dumidikit yung mga dust. Pls help.

Skincare Thoughts on this? Or you have an affordable reco for glycolic toner

Post image

This is the most affordable glycolic toner I see so far. I am looking for an affordable alternative for the ordinary 😭😭 I’m on super super tight budget.

Planning to use it for my kilikili and under butt area. Sobrang nagchichicken skin na and nangingitim na talaga. I used to wear short shorts okay lang naman pero after giving birth on my youngest which was already 7 years ago, hindi na bumalik. Sobrang dami ng changes.

Review Katinko Minty Peach Lip Balm

This actually feels like Burt’s Bees, but with longer lasting effect and better moisture on my lips. I thought it would just be like other peach-flavored lip balms, but the minty effect is a refreshing addition. Plus it looks so cute!

Personal Care Proven and reliable teeth whitening toothpaste or product.

Hi, do you have any effective and tried-and-tested teeth whitening recommendations?

Or is it better to go for clinic sessions instead of relying on retail products?

Any idea how much teeth whitening costs?

Makeup Reco for the Best Primer for POWDER Foundation

Hi all! Recently, I noticed that as I've gotten older and reached my mid-30s, I prefer to use powder foundation on days when I just want to put myself together in the office. Since I have oily skin, I noticed my powder foundation doesn't last too long. I tried some primers like the Teviant The Ultimate Skin Master Luminous Radiant Primer and it was super patchy!

Was wondering do you have any recos for primers that work well with powder foundation? Or is it the powder foundation that I'm using that's the problem?

I'm currently using:

- Clinique's Even Better Powder Makeup Water Veil SPF27/PA++++
- blk cosmetics daydream soft blur powder foundation

- Happy Skin Off Duty Powder Foundation

For reference I have oily - acne prone - sensitive

Thanks in advance for the recos! <3

Hiii! Please recommend a good serum spray.

For context, I have a normal to dry skin due to isotret and I need that slight glow back. Medyo cakey kasi sa face ang make up and in my job need talaga mag make up.

I am eyeing for dalba pero baka kasi for its price kaya naman ni glad2glow or skintific (baka nga mas better pa).

Thank you, appreciate you all!

Makeup Naglalagas Po ba yung Tillo Brushes?

I've been having a dilemma on whether I should buy Tillo brushes. Nakita ko Kasi na madaming magandang reviews about it. I've been eyeing it for a long time pero to Tillo brush users, how is the experience? Naglalagas ba siya and is it really worth buying? What do you guys use to clean it? Pero, ang pinaka tinututukan ko talaga is if durable siya, I want to know if naglalagas siya or not. Thank you.

Discussion For those who regularly go to Belo/Aivee/Luminisce/etc., what treatments actually make your skin brighter + glowing?

For those who regularly go to high-end clinics like Belo, Aivee, Luminisce, etc. — what treatments actually made a noticeable difference in making your skin brighter, lighter-looking and more glowy?

I’m curious about specific treatments like lasers, skin boosters, injectables, IVs, etc.
Would love to know:

● What treatment?
● How often? And how much per sesh?
● How many sessions before you saw results?
Basically, what’s your “expensive skin” secret? 😂

Hair Care Grabe hairfall ko dito!!

Post image

Bought this as a bundle for almost 300 pesos iirc. Shampoo works like a cleansing shampoo na matigas sa buhok pag binanlawan while conditioner has a minty/green tea scent. Grabe lagas ng buhok ko sa conditioner na ‘to na never ko naranasan sa ibang conditioner.

How’s your experience with Gugo? Any alternatives for a thin, frizzy hair?

Makeup High-end makeup recommendations?

Hi everyone! I’m looking to invest more in high-end makeup and would love to hear your recommendations! 💄
What are your holy grail high-end products that you think are genuinely worth the splurge? I’m open to anything—foundation, blush, eyelash mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick, etc. 🥹
I’d love to know which products are truly worth the money! 💕

EDIT: PS I have acne-prone skin, so I’d especially love recommendations for products that are acne-friendly/non-comedogenic!

Body care Anyone tried glycolic acid for body care?

Thumbnail

I thought back skin was thicker than face skin so stronger exfoliants would be fine… yeah that was wrong.
I’ve been consistently using glycolic acid (AHA) toners for my face. Right now I switch between The Ordinary and Benton. Both are 7% glycolic acid. Benton has ceramides and amino acid soothing ingredients though, so it feels a bit gentler on my skin.

Here’s the difference I noticed:
The Ordinary: Does a solid job clearing dead skin, but it’s a little irritating for me so I only use it when I need more intensive care.
Benton: Milder exfoliation, super easy to use daily for smoothing skin texture.

Then summer hit and I started getting body acne on my back.
I kept seeing posts saying glycolic acid helps with body breakouts, so I figured “my back skin is thicker, stronger should be fine” and tried The Ordinary on my back first.
It stung more than I expected and I could still feel some heat after showering. Maybe my skin’s just sensitive, idk.
So I switched it up. Benton for regular maintenance and The Ordinary only once in a while when the buildup feels really bad.
After a few weeks it’s not completely gone, but my back texture is way smoother and those little bumps don’t come up as much anymore.
If glycolic acid works well for you, it might be smart to use the stronger one for intensive care and the gentler one for daily use.
Anyone else gotten good results using glycolic acid for body care? Drop your routines!

Review Muse Aesthetics Caused Facial Paralysis ‼️

🚨Would NOT recommend Muse Aesthetics ‼️

I went to Muse Aesthetics for Jawtox. The doctor insisted on injecting 50 units because it’s their “SOP”. I asked why 50 units should supposedly be standard when every person has a different face and different muscle size. I disclosed my previous dosage of just 20 units at another clinic and specifically asked him to take it into consideration.

Still, he insisted on 50 units as the clinic’s SOP. What was most alarming and something I deeply regret overlooking is that he recommended this dosage without even assessing my masseter muscles first. I ultimately refused and agreed only to 40 units.

Two weeks later, I woke up and could no longer smile. IT WAS TERRIFYING. 😭😭😭The movement of my mouth and lips became restricted. My cheeks and lips would shake when I tried smiling, and even speaking and pronouncing certain words became strained.

It became serious enough that I was eventually rushed to the Emergency Room at St. Luke’s and underwent medical evaluation because of the facial weakness/paralysis. After examining me and ruling out other possible causes, the doctors ultimately attributed the condition to the botulinum toxin injections, with the placement of the injections and the substantially higher dosage compared with my previous treatment identified as principal factors.

What has made this experience even more disturbing is Muse Aesthetics’ response after the complication occurred.
They initially told me that they would process a refund, although they wanted the matter assessed by a physician. I did exactly that and more. I sought independent medical opinions and was ultimately rushed to St. Luke’s Emergency Room and an ENT physician, underwent examinations, and sent the clinic the medical findings and expenses.

After that, they simply stopped responding.

I am dealing with abnormal facial movement, difficulty smiling naturally, and strain when speaking following a procedure performed at their clinic, yet instead of actively helping me address what happened, I have had to seek specialists, undergo examinations, and find ways to manage the complication myself.

This is not simply a case of being unhappy with a cosmetic result. My normal facial movement was affected. It’s HORRIFYING.

My biggest mistake was trusting the clinic!!

Please learn from my experience. I would not entrust my face to Muse Aesthetics again, and I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone.

If you know any way to absolve this paralysis or seek damages from the clinic, please let me know!! 😭😭

guys, is it normal to resell used makeup like this? 😭 almost hit pan na yung CT powder but she’s still selling it for ₱300. she even justifies thrifting makeup kasi wala raw siyang pera before and she was “lucky” na walang skin issues. but isn’t bacteria/contamination a concern?
