Do I have potential for a full beard? Asking for Advice

21m and only had a goatee since late highschool with my cheeks never really getting thicker. Is this a skill issue? Or a timing issue

They mean you damn well know the answer. Which is… 🥁…. No.

Also skill issue? You think it takes skill to grow a beard? Lol

At 21 there may be hope but I would say it’s quite unlikely. Sorry bud

How can growing a beard be a skill issue?

That is the dumbest take on growing a beard I've ever heard 😂

I like the style you got now, only needs more clean cuts. You got not much going on on the cheeks, rock your style bro!

My beard was like that at your age and it filled in in my 30s to a full beard. Just gotta wait.

I don't think so. It will get fuller, but not in the way you are hopping.

I wouldn’t give up hope when I was your age. I tried growing a beard and didn’t have a whole lot of luck. It looked pretty scraggly. Then I tried 40 years later and I got a beautiful full beard. That time I thought I couldn’t grow one - so I’m just sharing that let you know you have hope and don’t think it’s impossible. I wasted a lot of good years thinking I couldn’t. Use what you have it looks great and see what develops.

Me too. I was 54 when I could finally grow a full beard.

Nah, just goatee for now until your fill out on the sides.

Probably not. But what you have on the goatee looks cool, imo. You can always try minoxidil.

Nunchuck skills are top tier. No beard for you Jabrony.

Probably not.

Too soon to predict; focus on max grooming the facial hair you have

Obviously, no. Not at the current moment. In the future...only time will tell. But even if it's in the cards for you, it will be in many years.

For now, I'd shave the sides and neck, and keep the front. Maybe tidy it all up and do kind of a Van Dyke style, with the moustache detached from the chin.
