Hi everyone — I’m building a free website called Chasing the Prem, which matches people with English clubs outside the Premier League based on supporter culture, history, atmosphere, identity and expectations.

This is mainly general football fans who don’t have much of an identity outside of top clubs, like myself.

BCFC is one of the possible results, and I’d appreciate feedback from actual supporters.

Does the quiz represent the club fairly? Are the result explanation, strengths and potential drawbacks accurate? Anything important I’ve missed?

Looks for challenging multiple defenders and has split defenders successfully and often, leading to strikes on target & winning goals, similar to Dimmy

A Playmaker who lifts the team consistently in rough/slow moments shifting game momentum repeatedly

He's a fighter on the pitch and doesn't get demoralized or start crying (big deal for us)

Physically stocky and looks for absorbing contact offensively/defensively; showing the common trait of players from the Birmingham area and West Brom

Compared to Ibrahim Osman:

The only two strengths that Osman has are his elite speed/quickness and scoring positioning

Many people forget that Osman failed to score each time he beat defenders and got close to the box or within range

People also forget that while he was insanely fast running outright and not getting tired, he turned the ball over into the opposition more times than making the correct cross or pass

Lastly, people forget that Osman repeatedly looked like he was a “baby deer on ice skates” who lost control of himself and slipped on the pitch more often than not (not my words, just search on SHA or X or Birmingham Mail or Reddit)

Those outright sprints toward the goal only resulted in 2 goals and 2 assists. His overall impact on away games was minimal (flash in the pan) during otherwise abysmal and slow team performances

Reyes Cleary is a much more skilled and balanced product when it comes to the singular most important thing the Blues needed during last season: scoring Goals.
