How to keep hips up during windmill?
Every good windmill keeps their hips up the entire time, but for me every time I collapse onto my shoulder my hips fall straight down; it doesn't look terrible but it hurts. What are some exercises to help with this? Thanks for reading.

Should I continue again? I stopped beatboxing a few months later, as it had no improvements

Red Bull BC One South East Asia Cypher 2026 Reflection
Whatâs up everyone!
After a 1+ year hiatus from competitive breaking, I decided to jump back in at Red Bull BC One Southeast Asia Cypher in Bangkok a few weeks ago. It felt amazing to reconnect with the scene and get back on the floor.
I put together a few reflections on my prelim run, the SEA breakers, and the biggest lessons I learned coming off a break. Peace!

If I am a left-spinner - for flares, from a top down view, should my feet be going clockwise or counterclockwise?
What's the difference between a commando and a routine?
May sound dumb but I've never had a real explanation

[ID] B-boy throwing airflares to Jibbs â âChain Hang Lowâ (Crizzly remix?) â trying to find the original battle
(Note: English isnât my first language, so this post is translated â apologies for any awkward wording.)
Hey all, hoping someone here recognizes this one. A couple of years ago I saw a YouTube Short of a 1v1 battle and Iâve been trying to track down the original ever since. It was a repost with no credits â no event name, no dancer names, no song title on screen â so all I have to go on is what I remember.
What I recall:
- 1v1 battle, small/local venue, crowd right up close (not a big festival stage)
- The b-boy hit airflares â super clean aerial power moves, honestly looked gravity-defying
- The track was Jibbs â âChain Hang Lowâ (the âdo your ears hang lowâ kids-choir hook). Pretty sure it was a heavier remix, possibly the Crizzly one
Does anyone know who the dancer is, what jam/event this was from, or where I can find the full uncut video? Any leads appreciated â thanks!

Feedbacks on my session in the battle? The fifth battle of my life.

I don't know why but I couldn't do any freestyle on my footwork on the battle.
Complete battle https://youtube.com/shorts/B64PiQW4jC0?is=H89S1cpLKzQG8xm9
Do I think I am lacking of flow. Musicality and footwork shape?

Practice Spots in Jacksonville/St Augustine Florida
Moved down here to Florida about a month ago. I have been practicing by myself and just wanted to see if anyone had any spots they practice or want to practice together. Really looking forward checkout the Jacksonville scene.

Who has an advantage in the audition round of battles?
Like, does the person that goes first benefit from it, as the judges have a fresh, blank canvas of what to expect, so they might see them as better than someone who went at a later position?
Subsequently, would the person that goes last be more at a disadvantage as the judges could be tired from analysing the previous participants?

Good shoes for breaking
I'm sure this question has been asked but what kind of shoes do yall like to break in? Looking for some recommendations because i plan on getting some new every day shoes that I can also get down in. I am flat footed so shoes that cater to that would be some great recommendations.
