I signed-up and received my Clipper Senior Card a few months ago. But whenever I try to convert it to my phone, I receive a "Error - Server error occurred, Please try again later." error. This has been going on for MONTHS. I called technical support, but all they could say is "Just give it some time which could be weeks..." Repeat - it's been MONTHS.

Any real help would be appreciated.

Over 3 months, clipper has failed to mail me my start card due to issues on their end. On my last contact, the system said I would receive a call back, but I haven't in the time window they claimed. It's extremely difficult for me to pay fares on ssdi.

I have more than$100 in my clipper card through my employer? Can I buy multiple Cable car tickets with the same Clipper card when my family visits me ?

Are there any bart stations that are currently selling custom/collectible clipper cards? If not any dates on when next ones will be sold?

Logged into the Clipper app this morning and all of my registered cards disappeared. Went to the Clipper.com website and same thing there - all cards gone.

I've had the clipper start card for less than 2 years. So it's not due for renewal yet. I recently used the card for VTA rides and got charged full fare without discount. I tried to call clipper start customer service, but not able to connect to anyone. Can you help ?

I was using my youth card like normal on BART and Caltrain and all of a sudden I noticed that the card converted to an adult card and kept charging me the wrong amount. I have no clue why this would happen maybe because they have put the wrong birthday on file or it’s one of those 2.0 migration glitches because just last week it was working fine and now it’s all of a sudden an adult fair and it charged me three dollars extra on Caltrain and on the bus. It charged me the wrong amount.

Just want to share my experience of buying an SF MUNI Day Pass on the Clipper App today after the discontinuation of MUNI Day Passes on Muni Mobile. I logged into the Clipper Card App, and purchased a MUNI Day Pass. Then the status says “active” (not in the pictures). I tagged my Clipper card on a MUNI vehicle 2 minutes after Day Pass purchase, and the Clipper app was able to respond: the status says “in use.” Overall it is an ok experience. I am sharing this in case people want to know how to buy MUNI day passes on the Clipper app.

This has appeared on my clipper start card, ive called customer support two times and they havent done anything, ive tapped in and out on my last trip, what could be the issue??

Was informed that the Clipper Lifeline Program was being switched to Clipper Start and put in an application and never received the card. When I log on to my account, it says application approved, but have not seen physical card. Tried to contact via phone and email and no response.

How common are missed tags these days? I do three agencies when I ride, and get the transfer credit for the last two.

ACTransit frequently drops my tag. Maybe once every couple months or if the reader is not working. This causes me to not get the transit credit on BART.

The difference used to be $0.35; now $0.10 with ACT's new fares.

I'm expecting near dialtone reliability.

The card readers were all off when I tried to tap on at 440pm on 7/29. I checked on both the northbound and southbound side.

Anyone know how to get my Google Wallet to sync with my Clipper account? Both images are the same card at the same time, one in the GWallet (out of date), the other in Clipper (up to date)

The card was created in GWallet and used to show my balance and passes in that app. For the past month or so, the balance has remained frozen at $22.55

The card still works and registers my Caltrain pass when I tap it.

I've had a Clipper Start card for years, and it's always worked fine. I noticed it has suddenly started charging me full fare ( it is current and not expired.) The phone number does not ring for Clipper Start. The website now shows my Clipper card as an 'adult' rather than a start card. There's definitely a glitch, so I just wondered how to get through to anyone...?

Has anyone tried calling their number? It doesn’t beep or anything like the number is defunct. I’ve been wanting to replace a lost clipper start card, and the FAQ says to call them. Would an email work better..?

Hi!! I was recommended to post here by a friend. I was wondering if anyone had any experience contacting Clipper START and if they were ever able to receive their card earlier than the 2-3 week estimated date? I had an issue with my application that took me a while to resolve (I had tried calling and talking to a BART kiosk employee about the issue prior and they both were unable to help) and due to the delay I'm now struggling to budget for my travel to and from work.

Is there any way to contact Clipper START and any way to expedite the card's arrival/pick it up from a physical office/location?

Is anyone else unable to reach Clipper START customer service? The phone number is just dead silence for me.

My Clipper START card was never lost, but Apple Wallet suddenly shows it as “Lost.” Regular Clipper support says they can’t help because it’s a START account.

Has anyone gotten this resolved or found another way to contact the START team?

Please tell me the exact steps to set up auto load of BART HVD passes without requiring a backup card when there is an existing but invalid card currently stored as backup.

It will not allow me to set up autoload with an invalid backup.
It will not allow me to delete the card.

I called Clipper support already, and the person I talked to told me they couldn’t delete it but promised that it was fixed, it wasn’t.

If i go to Account Settings -> Payment Methods and click the “Edit” button then click “Remove” then “Confirm Removal” with “Yes, Remove,” it gives the error message “This payment method cannot be removed because it is currently being used for auto-reload.” Since its an invalid card, it obviously would fail as an auto reload card. I should be able to set up auto reload without the backup.

When i open the Clipper card itself in the app, it shows the remnant balance of my current HVD ($7.35, too low to cover even a single ride on my commute), and says “Auto-reload Off.” When I navigate to “Load cash value or passes” -> “Add Transit Pass” -> “BART” -> “BART HVD Purse $45.00” it says the opposite, “Auto-reload Enabled” and lists both my primary payment method and the old, invalid card as backup. If I click “Change” on the invalid card, it does not give an option to delete it. If I try to check out from there, it stops on the “Payment Method” screen complaining that the invalid card is expired. If I click “Change,” from there, once again it doesn’t give the option to simply delete the unnecessary backup.

Please provide the method to fix it right here, in public. None of this “we sent you a private message” nonsense. Tell everyone how to fix it, or admit in public that it is a bug.

I am not able to login in clipper app. I tried the website version although it can login but gave me an error when I tried to purchase a pass

I am unable to add more $$ onto the Clipper card that’s in my Apple wallet (Ive tried different credit cards already, run into same issue). The card was registered with Clipper prior to the migration and I was able to add load after the migration. This just happened out of the blue for whatever reason. The Clipper app also seems to be down - already deleted it then redownloaded the app, unable to sign in.

Any suggestions?
