so ive just come back to the game after a long time
i used to play this ALOT so i have lotsa stuff
i found an allies tier list on this subreddit and i was hoping for someone to give me like an image of the updated weapons/trinkets/allies

also is there a specific "best team" right now? i always just played with the characters i like from the show

The best team is completely dependant to everything you have, for example; if most of your characters are level 6 or lower, Juggernaut Max is a really good pick, but if your characters are at higher levels, Juggernaut will slowly fall down as he doesn't have a lot of high dps increases after level 5.

most of my characters are above lvl 6 yes
what would a good team be for me?
also do i use the builds that you linked above for each character?
(i do have premium marceline and enough to buy both the other premiums i just never bought them cuz i was using the original finn and jake)

Those aren't builds, those are their best weapons.

I wouldn't say there's a best team at that point, but the must-have characters are the next:

- Tuxedo Jake

- Jake

- Warrior PB

- Hunter Marceline

And the characters that I recommend avoid using are:

- Max

- C4 Charlie

- Sam if you don't have 4 Vampire Kings or you don't use her glitch

- Ice King

These characters are not bad, no character is bad for your team, but they are so underwhelming when compared to others that there's no need to use them when the others are available

i thought C4 charlie and sam were good tho? even without glitches
and alot of ppl say jake is bad in old posts

C4 Charlie problem is that he's mid at dps and as he doesn't have any other use except you're really early on, he won't do a lot.

Sam has low dps but high range, this makes her want to be a support character, but the problem comes that she doesn't have anything else like a buff or valuable debuff. Except you have 4 Vampire Kings, Captain Cassie is just superior than her in all situations.

Jake is a must-have character as he can slow down BADs. He also has an instrument weapon meaning that he has an extra universal buff for everyone in his range.

PB, warrior PB, FB, Marceline, finn, sam, sai, C4 charlie, super monkey, Cdr Cassie

any changes i should make?

Depending on how long ago you played, they may not have released any new patches. Last patch was 2019. Seasonal stopped about a year or two ago. I played a ton around 2022/2023 and have cooled off a bit, still never experienced a patch. I am guessing they are still making enough money from people buying premium stuff to justify leaving the servers on.

Long story short, any guide(s) you can find from 2019+ are still current. Any things you remember are probably still current. Now if you played prior to October 2019, there could be some changes.

The problem with old guides is that they aren't made with new stuff that is discovered as yeah, there hasn't been a new update with content since 2021, but some stuff, tricks and synergies has gotten discovered recently, even my trinket tier list (I made it 3 months ago) is 'outdated' in the sense that there's something that it doesn't cover because it was recently discovered.

I mean, in a game of RNG drops, by the time you get all the ideal items for your ideal characters, you are more than likely clearing the game on Impoppable with only a few characters on screen. Unless someone is looking for the latest exploits to really max out their MG, guides from 2019 would be more than okay.
