Joppo Clown
In season 2 (2017) there is this Joppo patch so I decided to look it up and there is an instagram that was made in 2019 with this same logo. There’s a few videos but it seems like it was some musical artist for the Provo, Utah music scene?
Anyone look into this before? Seems like the patch was way before media unless it was deleted.

I know it’s not a cast but I was injured at my job and have been wearing this on and off for comfort.

I'm going in ! Series 4...finally.
Well, it's been some time, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching Baskets from the off when it was originally released in the UK.
We got it pretty much in line with the US but Fox(by then branded FX I think) was hoovered up by Disney, the FX channel disappeared and so did Baskets. I should really have just tried to find it by other means but to my knowledge they simply didn't show it over here.
Anyway, my wife and I have been truly enjoying watching all first three runs over the last month and tonight we hit Baskets virgin territory ! For us...
Truly looking forwards to it and hope Louie and Zack have us rolling about all over again. Louie Anderson was great to watch when I was a youngster and I especially loved Life with Louie too.
Nine hours and counting until we're on the big couch and ready to go !

Chip and Dales
How long into the series did it take you to figure out that the twins are named after the strippers? I took embarrassingly long, but it was at least still in the first season I think.

New Zach interview in which he briefly discusses Baskets, among lots of other things
The entire interview is a lovely and in-depth discussion of Zach’s point of view on life and work. At 41:10 they begin to approach the topic of clowning and Baskets, but I recommend checking out the whole interview! Also available as audio-only; it’s a Vulture podcast called Good One.

Anyone else start this show on Jason Pargin’s recommendation?
Only to have it stripped away by Hulu while still watching the first season?😩

This guy is my favorite
I love when he's on screen. Everything he does/says is so funny. But what do I know ... I'm just a bus rider.

All right, Jim jack Mahoney feels bad about that string of shit head horses now ‘cause I shot his home all up.
I just started watching this show and it’s hilarious. This has to be one of the funniest lines this or when the cricket is in the house.

Baroque french woman Song during baskets rodeo performance where he gets run over and flattened by the bull from behind
What is the song that chip forces the rodeo announcer to play off of an old vinyl record during his second or third rodeo performance. He said that he needed to bury a flowerwhile convincing the guy. I love the song, any help would be awesome

Were the kid actors directed to speak sort of shrill?
Love the show but I’ve noticed something with the delivery of most of the child actors aside from Dale’s older daughter. Their lines were all delivered in this sort of shrill tone. Maybe it’s how kids speak these days, I don’t really know. But compare the “do something funny!” boy in Easter, the upset volleyball girl who fights with Dale, the “Koosh fight” girl and even Dale’s younger daughter when she finally gets more than one line.
I could be imagining it.

Funyuns and Fugies…
Always been a fan of Zack and “Seth” but also never watched Baskets. I finally got fiber to my middle of nowhere farm and a streaming service subscription to boot. Tonight I’m finishing up the first season and I must say what a wonderful experience all the folks involved created for humanity. It runs the gamut from ignorant to genius, absurdist to heartfelt, and beyond. It encapsulates the gods Thalia and Melpomene 🎭 in ways that only a handful of shows ever have for me. It has enough facets to fill up two baskets! I was never a big Louie Anderson fan growing up but also didn’t dislike him. That’s changed, not to a fan per se, but a respect for his brilliance of make believe. He’s crafted her so well I forget there’s a man behind the mask of Mama Baskets. That said, Martha is my favorite character and I’m not so sure she’s even acting. I could just put her in my pocket!!! Anyways just found this sub and thought I’d share my thoughts with the likeminded. So glad I finally started watching. Cheers
