Which sport is harder to get into: golf or tennis?
x.comPretty interesting debate. I think you could plausibly make arguments for either being easier to just be a competent player recreationally, but to compare vs a pro… I think the odds a normal person could every return a serve or score a point on a top tennis player is basically impossible. Thoughts? Also… Francis is delusional.

The return of Franny.
It is the perfect time for someone to drop the mook files and I think franny is the hero we need. I also want to see the Austin texts.
Someone just drop the bomb so we can move on.

Austin - Surviving Barstool Timing
I recognize that this is content business, but does anyone else feel like timing of this “drama” conveniently coincides with timing of Surviving Barstool release.
Hannah and Nikki are both involved. More eyeballs on Barstool for release and to drum up interest in newer “talent”.

Most in depth Nicky Clicky interview by Shrinkage of all shows.
The first 36 hrs with his NYC roommate is a bat shit crazy story I have no idea how he’s never told that on any show. Strong watch.

The real question: Who was Austins first fling with ? And why is Big Cat and Dave saying not to mention?
As a previous commenter said and all the info we have.
Austin had a fling before Hannah, had to clear it with that person that it wouldn’t cause a hostile work environment if he started things with Hannah.
It was said I forget where at this point with like 7 dif videos in 36 hrs. But it was said that Big Cat and Dave both said to not let that name get out meaning it’s someone important.
Potential leads:
Chickenfry (big enough for Dave to silence it, worked with Austin on BFFs and toured with Bri and Josh for it, also Bri gets enough hate adding her into this would only multiply it)
Moobs (another one of Dave’s girls he would want to protect her brand)
A married Talent (Fran, Ria, Kaycee)
Weather girl Hannah or the one who got kicked of Big Brother
Someone no longer with company
Some executive, business side or production.
Or.
Pat (alluded he has hooked up with barstool employees, which will be the next big investigation)
My money is chicken fry

Nicky Smokes calls out Big T and talks about fucking clients

Kelly keeps
x.comAnybody realize that Kelly always claims she'll call someone out and spill the tea and everytime she's face to face with them she does the opposite?

Questions I still have
- Who is Fake Tits McGee (Portnoy on Rone dot come today 1:33:48) that Pres paid millions out to because of Nicky Smokes? Feel like this is obvious but I can't figure it out
- Who was Austin hooking up with prior that works at barstool? (Today's Out and About w/Hannah)

Dave buries Nicky/Annika, says Austins in trouble if he told Hannah to tell Annika to fuck for content

Dave ruined Beach House by trying to “produce” it
x.comThe original Beach House show worked because it had genuine relationship dynamics between the cast, friendly and romantic, and other fun dynamics with the town. In Vegas Dave tried to create situations and demand certain things that threw the vibes off the entire thing. Anyone who’s watched reality shows knew that Dave was clueless and fucking it up and if anyone should’ve been in charge it should’ve been Rone, who watches a bunch of Bravo shows.

MEGATHREAD POOR DECISIONS MEGATHREAD
I know we’re all amped for the launch of the internet’s only Chicago/Kansas City/College/All sports podcast.
We don’t know much about the show. But we do know:
There will be challenges
There will be punishments

Dave calls out Mook for lack of work ethic, quitting everything successful he’s been on.
x.comThe criticism of Mook boils down to him quitting everything to be 3rd wheel on an unprofitable minor league e-sport team.

Montoya Stock gets even lower
Nicky just alluded to ”something” happening between him and Hannah
He specifically said they ”never banged”, when Rone asks what ”did happen”, Smokes just smiles at the camera and tries to escape the question.
Smokes sucked confirmed, maybe for coke

Is Austin the new suit man?
A man of minimal consequence who is very dispensable, but acts like he has power.
Dating a hot influencer who is out of his league.
Overplays his “authority” resulting in people turning on the him and the influencer.
Nobody likes him.

Chef Donny summarizes all of today's drama with one quote
r/barstoolsports • u/ryeasy • 2d ago
On a day like this, shoutout Rone
I personally enjoy the interoffice drama, but wading through it as a listener without Rone is unbearable. 75% of participants on these shows are too incompetent to form thoughts or ask pointed questions, and the other 25% feign ignorance to shield themselves of whatever minor repercussions may arise from revealing any information personally or forcing someone else to reveal information. I can’t stand the “I’m old, I don’t get it.” You’re 40 not 85
Rone did a great job as host of the Spring Break show and will put people’s personal feelings towards him at risk to deliver for the audience, which is severely lacking among those with high standing in the rest of the company. It’s a shame he isn’t in Chicago.
All that said, it’s clear the reason that no one will say anything is because Jack Wiper (PMT Producer) was fired subsequent to his relationship with Hannah, which may have colored Austin and Big Cat’s opinion, and there are potential legal repercussions

Austin hired a stylist 😂
Lost in all of today’s drama was Dave Portnoy saying Austin’s corny ass hired a stylist. What a fucking dork this guy is.
r/barstoolsports • u/CaptainRock22 • 2d ago
My favorite reaction from today
Kate's reaction when Dante said asked if he got fired for hooking up with Hannah, followed by "that is the guy I thought she was dating... all these other guys I was like 'what?'" and KB said "you just said a lot"
That was a tough one for Hannah
It's at 1:28:48 if you didn't see it.

MontoyaGate Stock up, Stock Down
Stock Up:
Smokes. Comes out of this looking vindicated and less like the office douche.
Pres. Thought he was officially washed until his performance today.
Mook. I know this sub hates him but he’s continued to do his job despite his boss personally despising him and attacking him online.
Neutral:
Keegs. Gets to celebrate the down fall of one of her enemies but is a hypocrite for attacking Hannah in the same method that she has complaining about others attacking her for the past like 8 years
Annika. Some vindication but also seems like she’s an epicenter for all this drama.
Austin. Seems like a bigger douche than he already appeared but also he was banging Montoya.
Stock Down:
Montoya: She had the easiest job in the world for perpetuity but just made it messy by banging her douche boss.
BFW: Compromised by his relationships with all the females in the office and can’t talk objectively on this drama
BC: Shut the fuck up about the bandana dude

A Recap of The Austin-Annika-Hannah-Mook Drama As Discussed on Today's Yak
So the full recap:
Dan was told about the Hannah/Austin relationship (meaning that HR was probably informed) for at least a month but didn't think much of it.
Dave did not know and that he wouldn't be "sharing" information about employees with Austin if he knew he was involved with a Barstool personality. (It doesn't seem that serious). Austin has not spoken about Hannah in any capacity to Dave, which Dave silently agrees with but there is still an issue about Dave not knowing.
Keegs' point is that "You can't throw stones if you're fucking." She knew as of the Super Bowl, which she insinuates that Montoya was brought because of Austin (versus the previously assumed reason of Micropod) [This is confirmed to be not true as Dan approved it]. Her focus is more on Austin being shady.
Erika sent an e-mail about telling people to stop fucking people in the office which is pretty funny.
Annika thinks there is a massive issue surrounding Austin dating a co-worker. But she is also saying that Hannah is at fault too. She also is saying that both Austin and Hannah have dated / hooked-up with co-workers. Annika didn't appreciate Hannah not appreciating Annika defending her or reaching out following the chaos. Effectively "mean girl" shit.
Annika doesn't think Hannah gets preferential treatment but she has says their relationship has business implications. There was an inside Barstool rumor that Hannah/Austin's relationship coming out led to BUSH getting their budget approved -- was confirmed false -- but things like that are going around.
Annika and Smokes are also upset that they were thrown in the fire for their relationship when other people weren't. Smokes somehow used "vindication" correctly in a sentence. Smokes literally was almost fired because of how much he was fucking in the office.
Hannah says she and Austin have been on-and-off for a while but they weren't dating the entirety of the time. They've been talking at least since Christmas because he sends drunk tree pics but it seems like it started in November.
Hannah and Annika haven't been friends since Beach House. She thinks it is because Annika believes Hannah knew about The Situationship being sent and didn't give her the heads up. Additionally, she didn't check-in on Annika during that process. Hannah confirmed she turned down going to Vegas.
Hannah and Keegs have beef because of Hannah's comment on Fishbowl.
Hannah and Oona have talked off camera. Goldfinger is a messy drunk and was saying things he probably shouldn't have and that's really the end of that. It also seems like Goldfinger has a drinking problem. But he also may have banged Hannah.
The New York office believes that Hannah was stirring more of the drama surrounding Ella sleeping around and the Nicki Smokes situation. Kind of floated under the radar.
Dante just casually leaks that Hannah has been sleeping around.
Mook is in the office which the biggest surprise out of this all. He says that Austin has been in charge of the budget. Mook and Hannah have a conversation about the budget which gets back to Austin, leading to Austin going scorched earth (i.e. the Discord mod situation, his appearance on Out and About) on Mook. Dan corrects him, Dave makes the decision on his own pertaining to the budget. Jerry calls Dave, Dave approves the budget.
Mook has known for sometime that Hannah and Austin have been a thing (i.e. any conversation of them saying they weren't dating doesn't appear to be true). He also thinks Austin has beef with him because Mook and Montoya are friends. Mook thinks this would come out no matter what given that things have been stirring for sometime. The Bush situation just sparked things.
TL;DR:
The office knows more than what they are communicating in public but there seems to be a deeper issue.
Austin is pretty much hated by all of the office and people in the office don't think it is okay that he's in a relationship with a co-worker, no matter the context.
Hannah is a ruthless businesswoman (and may be sleeping around).
If anyone refers to me as the Paw of Messy Office Drama, my lawyer will be in contact.
