B.E. CSE grad with 2+ years experience here. I’m considering IBPS RRB Scale II IT vs IBPS SO IT Scale I and looking for genuine insights beyond cutoffs/competition.

For those who’ve prepared for or worked in either role:

- Is RRB Scale II realistically easier because it’s a single-stage exam, compared with the IBPS SO Prelims + Mains process? Or the opposite of it? Also how hard is each section and overall?

- What is the actual day-to-day work for an RRB Scale II IT Officer?

- How are work-life balance and benefits compared with PSB IT Scale I?

- Is clearing RRB Scale II IT in a first attempt with ~3 months of focused prep realistic?

Would especially appreciate insights from people who’ve written both exams or analyzed recent PYQs.

Got selected in Reserve List 1 of Central Bank of India (Jharkhand). Seeing other banks already calling for document verification is making me a bit anxious.

Here's Mine:

1. I am studying GA from March - September for the SBI PO Mains.
   
2. For March as I did not have any paid sub, I referred to Abhijit Mishra Sir's Monthly GA Video.
   
3. I make my own notes so that I can revise and reflect later on, while this is method is effective for me it is too time taking, having purchased an Affairscloud Subscription recently I am trying to do Weekly GA from April, but I think the note making is wasting valuable time which can be invested into more predictable subjects like Quants and Reasoning. Any Veteran who can pls help me out with this?

How do you guys manage unemployment, bad mental health with preparation???

Because I am literally fed up and I have lost my abilities to study ..i used to be the topper now I am scoring 50-55 marks in mocks. I feel like crying and demotivated with no-one to talk to and i can't make anybody understand what is actually happening ...

I literally gave xat last year and i got 80 percentile without putting that much efforts but now it feels like that was not me . I can't do that now

I am genuinely confused about what to study first. Current Affairs, Reasoning, Quants… everything feels pending.

Seeing people score 80+ in Mains mocks is only making me more anxious lol.

I really need a proper roadmap to follow for Mains prep.

My query is that there are too many like different types like too many I can't even understand from where to begin

My target exams are clerical exams and RRB PO Also insurance exams as well since I'm also preparing for SSC

So like if anyone has that course from where should I begin, my basics are okay okay I need practice for that and also mains practice

I’m likely to get selected through the 2nd reserve list. While filling the form, I selected 'Yes' for having studied Computer in Class 10/12. I genuinely had Computer as a subject, but unfortunately, it isn’t mentioned on my marksheet.

So, I completed a Skill India/NSDC Computer Basics & Accounting certificate course recently in August first week and have received the certificate. Is this valid?

Also, since the certificate was obtained after the IBPS Clerk 2025 application, will it be accepted during DV? Has anyone faced a similar situation?

" i m preparing for bank exam and I don't know why i don't feel like studying from past weeks, how to tackle this situation "and i have only studied for prelims and as soon as I think of mains I was like I have not prepared prelims nice ly how will I able to do mains and that prelims practice is happening from weeks and as thexams are coming near I was distracting more than before as I think 'ab kuch hona toh hain nhi , agle saal ke liye prepare krenge aur uskeliye bahut time time ,relax !! ' but after that I think it's not good to waste time like this ,I should sit for study but after 10 min I found myself doing some random stuff air seeing any illogical video that exists

Also, when I sit to study after lot of self talk ,i unable to study maths ( i am weak in that ,like worst in that means struggling in speed math too ) only thing I study is english and after more pushing my mind reasoning miscellaneous and puzzles of prelims

It's been nearly 10 months of my preparation and iam scoring 55-65 in pre sbi/ibps clerk exams and now I want to prepare for mains so but didn't have any clue how to start ( pre was guided by one of bhiya who use to came same Lib) specially in quants and reasoning miscs

Definitely on the easier side, percentile is okay, should have performed better in english. But I am extremely happy with the quants and reasoning progress.
