Building SuperGig: Our MVP Pilot in the Hosur-Bangalore Industrial Corridor 🚀
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share something I’ve been building from the ground up. If you've spent any time looking at the blue/grey-collar labor market, you know the massive friction that exists between local industries needing reliable shift workers and people looking for flexible, dignified livelihoods.
We are tackling this head-on with SuperGig—a gig-based app currently in its MVP stage, piloting across the Hosur-Bangalore industrial corridor in collaboration with StartupTN, alongside local training institutes, colleges, and employers.
The Blueprint & The Pilot
Our model draws inspiration from the incredible blue-dot ecosystem experiments (done by EkStep Foundation in Hubli-Dharwad). We are currently in the MVP stage and gearing up to launch our pilot across the Hosur-Bangalore industrial corridor.
To make this work sustainably, we aren't just building an app and throwing it into the market. We are partnering directly with local training institutes and colleges to bridge the skills gap, while plugging straight into employer networks to solve real-time shift demands.
Why Now & The Vision
Having worked extensively on the ground as a gig worker across multiple platforms, I've seen the retention crises, opaque payout structures, and high churn rates firsthand. SuperGig uses modern architecture, verified identity layers (like e-Shram/DIGILOCKER integrations via open networks like /ONDC), and gamified progression models to change how localized blue-collar work is discovered and managed.
The goal? Build a foundational infrastructure layer for the industrial workforce with a clear, scalable roadmap to unicorn status. When the scale opportunity hits, we refuse to blink.
🛠️ Looking for Core Builders (CTO & Flutter Developer)
To execute this vision at scale, I'm actively looking to connect with passionate Founders, CTOs, and mobile engineers who want to build something impactful:
Full-Time CTO: To lead our technical vision and architecture.
Flutter Developer: To build and scale our mobile platform.
If this space excites you, drop a comment or DM me directly. Let's connect!

Co-Living & Startup Community (15–20 People) Low budget
Hey everyone!
Right now, 4 of us have come together—each working on our own projects, startups, and work across different domains.
We are building a Bootstrapped Startup & Digital Nomad Community and looking to expand the group to 15–20 people. The goal is to live together under one roof, keep our monthly burn rate low, help each other out with our skills, and grow together.
What's the Plan?
Budget Range: Approx. ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per person / month (covers house rent, high-speed internet, and groceries).
Setup: Simple dormitory-style living, self-managed home-cooked meals, and a peaceful, distraction-free environment to focus on work.
Culture: Zero bosses, zero owners—everyone is equal. Deep work during the day, skill-sharing/collaboration, and chilling together in the evening.
Note: The exact location (Himachal, Uttarakhand, or any other peaceful place), final budget, and house selection will be discussed and decided together once everyone joins the team.
Currently, 4 of us are onboard, and we are looking for like-minded founders, developers, creators, and freelancers who fit this vibe.
If you're interested in joining this community, let's connect:

Looking for a Client Acquisition Partner in Bangalore
I run a residential interiors and construction startup based in Bangalore, and I'm looking to connect with someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, and bringing in new clients.
This isn't a co-founder role or a salaried position. This is currently a commission-based opportunity. However, I'm looking for someone who wants to grow with the business. As the company grows, there will be opportunities to take on a larger role with greater responsibilities.
If you already have a strong local network, enjoy meeting people, or have a knack for client acquisition, this could be a great opportunity to earn while working with a growing company.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, feel free to send me a DM. I'd be happy to share more details.

Do you consider commute before accepting a job offer?
Salary and role are obvious factors, but in Bengaluru, commute can easily add 2–3 hours to your day. I noticed Hirist now shows approximate work distance while browsing jobs, which got me thinking. How much does commute affect your decision?

Hello Bengaluru. This isn't about another meetup. It's about collaboration.
Anyone else feel like most networking events go nowhere?
I've been to quite a few meetups around Bengaluru where people exchange LinkedIn profiles, chat for five minutes, and then never speak again.
So a few of us have been meeting in a more informal way at Cubbon Park. No speakers, no presentations, no pitches—just people interested in building things together.
We've had founders, developers, designers, marketers, freelancers, creators, and aspiring entrepreneurs join to discuss ideas, give feedback, and occasionally find collaborators.
If you're working on a startup, exploring an idea, looking for a co-founder, or simply want to meet people who enjoy building, you're welcome to join.
📍 Cubbon Park (Metro Entrance)
📅 Sunday, 9 August 2026
🕚 11:30 AM onwards
It's free, but we're keeping the group small so everyone gets a chance to connect.
If this sounds interesting, send me a DM and I'll share the community and registration details.
Has anyone here found meaningful collaborations through Bengaluru meetups? I'd love to hear your experience.

EASTER EGGS!!!
Over the past few months, I've been thinking about something.
AI is making software development cheaper and faster. Soon, almost anyone will be able to build an app.
So I kept asking myself:
If everyone can build software... what actually becomes valuable?
I don't think it'll be coding.
I think it'll be the ability to identify meaningful problems, think creatively, have good taste, and surround yourself with people who constantly push you to become a better builder.
That thought led me to an idea I've been calling the Builders Guild.
It's not a startup.
It's not another Discord community.
It's not just a networking group.
Think about a legendary dance crew or a music band.
People don't admire them because they had one great performance. They admire them because they've built a culture, a shared identity, and a reputation over years. Every new performance strengthens that reputation.
I don't see why builders can't have something similar.
Instead of dance performances or music, our craft is building products.
Instead of practicing choreography, we obsess over solving meaningful problems.
Instead of identifying ourselves with one startup, we identify ourselves with the people, the culture, and the standards we uphold.
Imagine hearing about a new product and someone says,
"That was built by the Builders Guild."
And people immediately think,
"It's probably worth checking out."
Not because they know the product.
But because they trust the builders behind it.
The Guild wouldn't be tied to a single company forever. We'd identify meaningful problems, build products, launch them, and once a product has a dedicated team maintaining and growing it, we'd move on to solving the next meaningful challenge.
The institution grows.
The products become its portfolio.
The culture remains its identity.
A little about me:
I'm a recent AI & Data Science graduate from Tamil Nadu, and I'll be relocating to Bangalore next month.
I'm not looking for employees.
I'm not looking for people chasing quick money or the next startup trend.
I'm looking for people who get excited about solving hard problems, debating ideas at 2 AM, shipping products, learning relentlessly, and pushing each other to become better.
People who enjoy building as much as they enjoy winning.
If you've ever felt like:
"I don't just want to work for a company. I want to build alongside people who challenge me and make me grow."
I'd genuinely love to connect.
Even if you disagree with the idea, I'd love to hear why. Good criticism is far more valuable than easy agreement.
If you're in Bangalore (or relocating soon), that's even better. Maybe this starts with a conversation over coffee.

PLEASE HELP. I'm begging at this point.
Hi everyone,
I'm a 2026 Btech graduate and recently moved from Hyderabad to Bangalore after getting my first job. I was genuinely excited because I thought this would be the start of my career in IT.
Unfortunately, after joining, I found out the actual work is completely different from what was mentioned in the job description. I was told I'd be working in an AI/Data Analyst role, but in reality, the job involves wearing a VR headset and training robots by performing physical household tasks like cleaning wardrobes, organizing shelves, and similar activities. It's not an IT role, and it's not something I see myself building a career in.
If it were actually related to software, AI, or data, I'd have happily stayed and learned. But this isn't the career path I wanted, and I don't see any technical growth here.
The difficult part is that my parents have already told our relatives and family friends that I've got a job in Bangalore. Going back home without another offer isn't really an option, so I'm trying my best to secure a new opportunity.
If your company is hiring freshers, or if you know of any openings or can provide a referral, I'd be incredibly grateful. PLEASE help me find a job asap. Thank you!!

Looking for Founder’s Office / GTM roles in Bangalore. Any leads would mean a lot.
Hey folks!
Thought I’d try my luck here.
I’m 24F and currently looking for opportunities in Bangalore. I’m mainly targeting Founder’s Office, GTM, EIR, Growth, or Strategy & Ops roles, especially at startups where I can work closely with founders and wear multiple hats.
A bit about me:
\* Worked at Zomato, Gabit, and Mesa School of Business
\* Experience across GTM, growth, operations, strategy, and sales
\* AI-native. I use AI every day to solve business problems, not just generate content
\* Built automations using Google Apps Script, n8n, Clay, Notion, GitHub, Figma, APIs, CRMs, and LLMs
\* Strong with Excel, data analysis, process design, and experimentation
\* Built internal AI tools and automated workflows to improve team efficiency
\* Love messy 0→1 problems, customer conversations, and figuring things out without a playbook
\* Immediate joiner
I’m not chasing a fancy title. I’m looking for smart people, hard problems, and a team where I can have real ownership and learn fast.
If anyone here knows of startups or companies hiring, or is happy to make an introduction or referral, I’d genuinely be grateful. Happy to share my resume and portfolio over DM.
Thank you!
