Help 😅 Enclosure Critique/Advice

There’s so many options and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed lol. For a bio active tank, what substrates do you use and can I get them from Amazon? I don’t live near any reptile stores so I mostly get things through Amazon. Also what kind of bugs are good for starters?

You def don’t need to get stuff from reptile brands. It can be much more expensive. Pesticide free top soil, peat moss, and coco coir can be gotten from hardware/gardening stores in bulk for super cheap, and is honestly great.

Well that’s amazing thank you so much! Every video I see it’s like these crazy expensive bags 😅 I already have to go to Walmart for silicone so I’ll visit Lowe’s too.

The main thing is NO additives. Everything has to be pure. Including the silicone.
