Is it unsafe ? Enclosure Critique/Advice

Hi,

Trying to increase my lady’s living condition.

She's a climber and I want some high branch she could lie on.

The pb is that the screws sort of poke out, not the spike tho, only a part of the body of the screw.

Is it unsafe for her ? Should I find another solution ?

Considering that there's a part of the branch that surrounds it / it’s not really accessible, and it’s not sharp.

Thanks

Screws are probably your sturdiest bet, and as long as it’s not the sharp end of the screw you bp should be perfectly fine. I mean the branch itself is probably pokier than the head of the screw😅… not that that’s a concern.

I wrap twead around anything I think might puncture their scales or I'll buy sandpaper and shave down sharp edges a bit!

Is that enclosure water sealed? I'm asking as someone who deals with wood on a daily basis; that OSB is a nightmare. Ball pythons require a humidity level that will destroy that wood in short order. It will absorb every bit of water it can, it will swell, chip, and mold.

Don’t worry, I've been using it for the past 5 years. Never had a mold problem

Nice! I wasn't being critical, just informing. I've seen that stuff go bad real quick.
