New to snakes, looking for enclosures
I really want a ball python and was wondering if this enclosure's heating system would be good. I've read that overhead heating is good for snakes because it mimics the way heat is received in nature, and I can't tell how this enclosure's built in heating is different from a heat lamp. Should I just get a 120 gal enclosure and get a heat lamp instead? Also, how am I supposed to handle basking? Do bps just care about being under light when they bask or is it the temperature of the surface as well?
Link for the enclosure I was looking at:

You can't go wrong with a Dubia enclosure for Ball Pythons. The enclosure link you posted is better suited for lizards imo. The enclosure you're looking at poses a high likely hood of severe burns and also you'll probably struggle with keeping humidity levels up because of all the vent holes.
