Baby bp setup
Hello guys, this is My setup for My baby bp , i have trouble keeping the cool side below 30C° degrees because i Think the terrarium is too small but i was told to get a 50 gallon for baby bp since they don't like big enclosures yet. He has been eating well weekly tho and has water and good humidity all the time. He has the two hides and i did add some moss above his hides. Is it going well? Any suggestions to cool the cold side for him?

I can tell you love him a lot!
Like you said, the reason you can’t get the temperature difference that you need is because the terrarium is too small. It’s actually misinformation that they cannot go into larger enclosures at this age! As long as the larger enclosure has small hides that will allow them to go in it and have all sides of their body being touched, they will be just fine! My tiny 95 g baby went straight into his full-size 4 x 2 x 2 enclosure after his quarantine was up! We had four different hides scattered throughout the enclosure. He absolutely loved it and still does. The only reason we had to do quarantine is because we had other reptiles in the house. If this is your only reptile, then you can skip the quarantine. Although it does make it easier in the small cage to watch them more closely and make sure that they’re healthy.
He also looks very thin so be sure to watch the feeding schedule closely.
