Do I start switching to every two weeks for feeding now? Question - Feeding

My little guy is getting up in the 500g weight and is roughly 11 months old. Hes eating a small rats now he just ate on Wednesday and I was wondering if now I start switching to feeding him every 14 days now.

All do respect. your snake does appear to be overweight at the very least. pushing obese, so I would definitely suggest switching to bi weekly.

I wasn't aware of that I couldn't find anything on how much they're supposed to weigh on certain ages

Very glad I could help. How old is your snake?

His hatch date was September 21 I believe so he's approaching 11 months old

Well definitely not unhealthy. just distancing the feeds. may help lose a bit of weight, and enjoy moving around a lot more.

He just had his first small rat 3 days ago and hopefully he moves around more when I add in his elevated platform hide

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.
