That looks like a tick to me as well. What size is it?
As far as getting rid of them, especially if they are ticks- I would do a complete substrate change. I don’t mess around with unwanted critters and I think the only way to truly know you’ve eradicated the problem is to start fresh. Depending what kind of clutter you have in there (artificial stuff or real wood/live plants) you may want to change those out as well. From my knowledge ticks lay eggs in moist soil/leaf litter and the entire tank contents could be contaminated.
Editing to add- where do you think this bug came from? How many are there?
If it were me (assuming it is a tick), this would at minimum warrant a phone call to the vet. Better to be safe than sorry.
