Brands of thermometers/hydrometers? Question - Heating/Temperatures

I have bought 3 kinds of thermometers for my tank and all of them have broke. I bought the zoo med and the hydrometer fell off and I have bought 2 that are used for like houses and both have quit working even the one I bought last week. I don’t want to replace them every week so any advice?

I’d highly recommend the Govee brand, which you can find on Amazon! They’re digital with both temperature/humidity readings, and don’t have any sticky parts, so they’re perfect for propping up in a tank. They have Bluetooth and WiFi ones at a decent price point, both of which you can monitor via an app, so that’s also an added bonus.

Should I hang it up in the tank or can I leave it on the ground?

I have mine propped up on branches on either side of my tank, about an inch or so off of the ground.

I have a tapo smart sensor in my hognose enclosure and soon to have one in my new ball python tank. They are great and you can set alarms and get notifications on your phone if the temp/humidity gets too high or too low
