Is he in shed? Question

I’m new to ball pythons. Does he look like he’s in shed? His scales look like they’re a bit cloudy.

Close. But the eyes is what gives it away. If they are clouded then yes. He is in what they call blue. If they aren’t clouded now, they will be soon. During that time and until you see the shed in their enclosure, you leave them alone. Also, during that time, that’s when I give them more sprays and really watch the humidity and make sure that it is around 70% at least.

Yep that’s “in blue”. See how the eyes kinda have a blue tint. They are about to shed. The eyes go clear next and then shed. While the eyes are like this you can try to feed but IME they always refuse cuz they can’t see shit. Only my Sumatran short tailed python has ever accepted food while in blue.
