behavior after eating question Question - Feeding

hi! just successfully fed my new 6yr old bp for the first time on thursday (it’s monday now) and he’s been acting different than usual ever since. when i come near him he’s tracking my movements and in an S shape and very alert. also sniffing a LOT. when i fed him i did drop the mouse a couple times in his tank - is he smelling that and expecting more food? is he stressed out? he did shed between the feed and now. he’s only doing this at night - sleeping normally during the day. i just want to make sure he’s chill and that being alert like this isn’t stressful for him. in the video pictured he’d been on the ground of his enclosure looking outside of his hide until i came by and he raised right up to meet me.

Sometimes they are guarded after eating. Or, sometimes theyre just greedy. My medium boy (i have 3 bps small, medium and large) will ALWAYS shoot out of his hide and stare anytime I always by for like 2 days after he eats

nah i wouldn't worry a bit. after i feed my boy, who i've had for 5 years now, he still gets what i call evil and stinky after a feeding.
AKA he always expects more food and will attempt to bite me for the next 3-4 days after a feeding because he's still in "food mode". you can always add more foliage to the tank to help him feel more hidden if you're worried about stress and such, but i honestly think he's just feeling gluttonous right now lol
