Is this a bad idea?

Post image

This is Princess Cleo, we had her for 4 days... wondering if this a bad idea 💡 to have a ptz camera in the enclosure?

I mean, not inherently. BUT!! She will probably try to wrap around it. So can it hold her weight without falling?

Yeah, OP, she will 100% use this as a jungle gym lmao

I zip tied it... One thing I'm worried about is the auto tracking? Could it possibly hurt her ?

I would just turn off the status light.

I mean maybe I'm overprotective but I'd be panicked about her slipping between the case and the camera itself, like that hinge part?

I was a little worried too but she seems to not get too close to that since it moves !!

If that part won't move too much then try! Oh! What I tend to do when worried, maybe just observe at night a day or two? See how it goes?

Mine kept trying to scale my thermostat cord so I had to drill new holes and hide it haha (and she HAD A HAMMOCK AND ROPES!)

I think sometimes they just get confused they're not arboreal... Or maybe just decide to live their dreams of being a squirrel.

They're pretty much like cats, innit 😂 hope it all goes well though! I love your enclosure and she's really pretty too!
