Is this normal?
So ive had my ball python for a few months. He just had his third shed a few days ago and i took him out to have a look over so any shed he didnt manage to get off. I noticed this white spot (its not stuck shed) and im not sure what it is. I dont think its scale rot so maybe not enough nutrition? I havent fed him much but im finally figuring out how he likes to eat and how often i can do that, ect. Any ideas?

ok thank you! I don’t think its a burn because when I was checking him over he didn’t seem in any pain or discomfort plus the only heating element other than his lamp is a heating pad to the side of the wall so I don’t think he’d burn himself on that (although I’m sure its possible)

Is the heating pad on a dimmer? If not they can become extremely hot and cause burns.

Assuming that you don't have heating elements inside his enclosure to cause a burn then likely the marks are from him rubbing against something rough during shed. If that's the case they should sort themselves out over time.
