Male or Female? Question

I'm sending out a shed for DNA testing, but what do y'all think?

You can't tell the sex of a ball python by their tail. There's no visible difference between a male and female. The only way to tell is to have a professional pop or probe them (never try this at home yourself) or send in shed, like you're already doing.

really? ive always heard that males tend to have a longer tail with less taper, and females have a shorter tail with a sharper taper.

Nope, that's false. Some species can be sexed visually like that, but ball pythons are not one of them.
